I have been dealing with symptoms of severe anxiety, depression, fatigue, joint pain, dizziness,…read moreand brain fog for approximately 8 years. After seeing multiple doctors and undergoing many tests, all with no diagnosis or treatment of my symptoms, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Kristy Fassler of North Coast Family Health. Dr. Fassler was recommended to me by several family members who have received successful treatment from her. I have been seen several times at North Coast Family Health in the past 6 weeks and my progress has been incredible! Dr. Fassler took the time to listen to all of my symptoms. I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme and a co-infection of Bartonella. Dr. Fassler carefully came up with a treatment plan specific to my needs: nutrition and herbal supplementation. After 6 weeks of following her treatment, I am SO happy to say that my symptoms are improving, my anxiety has lessened by about 75%, and for the first time in over 8 years do I feel like I'm becoming myself again. I am thankful that I have been able to find a treatment through nutrition, herbs, and supplementation. I love how caring and compassionate the entire team at North Coast has been. Dr. Fassler is clearly very knowledgable in naturopathic medicine, as well as her Lyme literacy. I can not thank her enough! I would highly recommend Dr. Fassler and North Coast Family Health!

Having the initial 2 hour visit helped Dr. Aguiar hone in on my history, current symptoms, and concerns. We did a set of 3 tests: one for Lyme, one for SIBO, one for adrenal fatigue, and he was spot on for all 3! Dr. Aguiar has since moved to a new practice, so I now see Dr. Quinn. Her many years of expertise helps me to constantly refine my treatment plan to help me reach not only a functional level of health, but an optimal one. I highly recommend anyone with Lyme or suspected Lyme and co-infections to go to North Coast. Same rings true for anyone seeking to improve their general health, such as if they have low energy, changing hormones, digestive ails, and any other chronic condition such as asthma, allergies, eczema, and naturopathic medicine is also great for proactive and preventative care. There is even a naturopathic oncologist! There are also multiple treatments such as IV laser, topical light therapy, IV's, IM injections, craniosacral therapy, constitutional hydrotherapy... they do it all!

I had a personal recommendation to try the Lebro Center. I was having wrist and elbow pain, and…read morerestricted use of some of my fingers on my left arm. I started my treatment in November, and now I have NO wrist pain, my fingers are great and my elbow is healing quickly. It can be scary to deal with this level of pain and restricted movement, but it scares me more to think about where I'd be medically had I not started my visits. I highly recommend trying this route of treatment for any arm or leg pain. People typically think of chiropractic treatment for back problems, but it helps your whole body. Give it a try!

He will make no attempt to do any sort of professional diagnosis, i.e. X-rays or something. Instead he will take you to a machine that was "made by NASA". He will not attempt to explain how this technology works, rather the machine will explain itself to you, because that is normal. He will make you read a couple paragraphs on the screen all the while asking "are you done? Are you done? Are you done?" While you are trying to read and understand a technology you have never even heard of. Then once you have educated yourself on how this NASA technology works. He touches you with this little probe that makes clicks and beeps. A shitty little line graph pops up, and he says "this dot is off and that vertebrae connects to you stomach... have you been having stomach problems?" Almost as if he is doing some sort of palm reading, not scientific! I say "no, my neck hurts". Then he says yep machine says you are good. Do you have any question? Then he put me on the table folded my arms across my chest. I am thinking, ok here is more what I was imagining when coming to chiropractor. He puts his weight down on me in a way that gave me the distinct impression that he did not know what he was doing as he was hurting my chest in trying to crack my back. Did one half assed attempt on one side, then said "see no cracks that means the machine already fixed you, your good". Then he takes you to another room and tries to book you on 16 more appointments that you will be liable for. Forgot to mention the very first thing they have you do is sign a contract making you financially responsible for all appointments. I had a hard time not laughing in his face. That was it, the whole appointment. Then they give you an invoice. You get to go have some homework and learn another aspect of what should be their job, submitting insurance forms. So I am sitting here trying to figure the insurance out with a bad neck and letting them waste more of my time to see if I can get that money back. I will not be surprised if the insurance tells me no, because this place is not legit.

Let me start by saying I'm not a big reviewer, but I felt the need to warn others about this woman…read more I was referred to Maria through a doctor I love, so I thought I was in good hands. Instead--yikes. Why: I made it clear from my first email that I needed a dietician to help me with meal planning/tracking nutrients (you know, the things you expect of a dietician) as my new health issue required a limited diet, and as someone who has a lot on her plate, I was overwhelmed. We had a short discovery call where I reiterated this. I had also noted my health conditions in that email and she assured me she was familiar with all of them (spoiler: familiar with the most common one is just her daughter-in-law, and familiar with the rare one I really needed help with turned out to be "I took a course" but no practical knowledge.) At this point I was iffy, but I do (did?) trust the doc who referred me, so I booked the longer first meeting for $200. I had to complete hours of forms, provide labs, etc. Mind you, again, I have a diagnosis. I just wanted someone to help me meal plan and track nutrients. In one of the form questions, it asked for my goal for sessions with her and I reiterated this for now the third time. Then when I got to the *last* form it mentioned an additional fee for meal planning. (Again: one of the very basic expectations of working with a dietician.) I messaged Maria to ask about this as she had *never* mentioned an additional fee. Her message back was a little vague but said that that was an old form she forgot to update and not to worry about it. My bad for not pushing back. We get on the call and she literally talks AT me for the next 65 minutes. At me. Not with me. Not addressing my issues, but just chattering about all the research she had *just done that day* into my main health condition and what she decided was the cause of it. Then she starts telling me I have other conditions. We're talking complete fear mongering that I really do believe would work on someone who is not as prone to research and arming herself with knowledge as I am. At one point I cut her off and said that I don't want to take all the supplements she was laying out without even knowing I have the issues she was talking about (because I refused the$1,000+ testing she suggested), and she literally said to me in a very serious tone, "Oh, you DO have this." No tests done, just looked at my forms and talked to me for a little over an hour and decided I had this thing that I need tons of supplements for. Finally, she asked, "So how'd we do?" I'm a blunt person and I was pretty ticked at this point, so I said, "How did I do or how did you do?" And to her credit, she admitted she was asking about herself here. I truly believe she wanted a gold star. I said that while it was clear she had done some research, she hadn't answered any of my concerns or addressed why I had reached out to her. At all. She asked what I meant and, again, I mentioned meal planning. This is when she tells me she doesn't do meal planning anymore--after the initial 40 minute intro call, hours of paperwork, me messaging to clarify the form I'd seen, and this now going on 75-minute full consult. If I want, I can in fact pay for that other service myself I saw on the form and do my own meal planning. I got off the call and sent her a message that night letting her know I wouldn't be continuing with a package. She is a snake oil salesman, a this was a complete waste of time, energy, and money. Save yours.
