This wall is now out of plumb by 3-1/2" over a 4'-0" area, so out of plumb by almost 1 inch per foot. The pavers have large 1/2" plus gaps in this area, and there is concern that this wall is going to fail, and will fall. Alex has been notified numerous times each year about this issue, and he has refused to respond or answer my calls, texts or emails, he is ignoring the problem. When looking back, Alex failed to acquire a permit or to notify the city, which is required with any wall that is over 4'-0" in height, and he did not complete an engineering review which is also a requirement for walls of this height. Because of the lack of response from Alex and his refusal to warrant his work, I am forced to get quotes to repair and will need to pursue legal means to resolve the issue. Beware.

We hired Shades of Green to build a patio in our back yard. We explained our budget and what we…read morewere hoping for.... They put together a nice design for us. But we couldn't afford to do all of it at the same time (Like $15,000 was the total, but our budget was $5,000). Patio looks nice - but we counted a little over a dozen bricks that have rust stains from where ever they were stored. For professionally installed, we weren't thrilled with this - but live with it. They also built a small sitting/retaining wall for us. It was the end of October 2016 - and when they cam out to finish forgot to install one brick.... (so the sides were uneven.) we were fine with waiting until Spring 2017 for them to come back. We discussed that we were not going to pay our remaining balance until the job was completed. Fair, right? We paid over 75% of total bill already..... Now that Spring is here, we would like to build up our retaining wall a little more. But everyone at Shades of Green is suddenly CRABBY at us.... and I'm not sure why. We have been nothing but nice and friendly, even though they forgot a brick last year. And now they would like to do add a bit more - it's like we are bothering them. Not like we are having them do anything for free - we are still paying them, so whats the problem. Honestly, I would NOT recommend SHADE OF GREEN. For the amount of money we did end up spending, we are disappointed in the stained bricks in our patio. You expect better from professionals. We also didn't appreciated the lack of communication between their sales staff and their installers. Not sure why they were so "GRUMPY" with us either..... We waited 6 months for the job to be finished. Signed purchase agreement in AUGUST 2016 - now it is APRIL 2017 and we are waiting for them to come back and finish.

I didn't sign up for the snow removal service, but those guys were always on top of any snow removal for the neighbor. After I signed up, another neighbor signed up with Todd's based on what I had to say and the results they saw. The people who bought the house from me requested to know what service was handling the property and they also chose to stick with Todd's Mow N Plow from what the owner told me before the house closed. There were a couple times I was accidentally a couple weeks behind as a bill would get lost in the shuffle of paperwork while I was traveling. My lawn was never damaged by "weed killer"? The crews working on my house traveled in 2 trucks. I can't see a business owner losing tons of money to send multiple trucks, waste product, and pay employees to commit crimes to damage a non-paying customer's yard. Todd's Mow N Plow was friendly, timely, did a nice job, worked quickly and billed more than reasonably. 2 years after I moved, I'm recommending my mom to use the lawn service. That says it all, doesn't it?
