On the second day after the tiger loop was installed the burner started making noises when working. When I called with my concerns, they pretty much disregarded them. I sent a video where you could clearly hear the noises. They said they didn't hear anything. Finally they said someone would come by when they were "in the area", but with no time frame, like next week or next month. Nothing. I apparently was supposed to wait for an indefinite period of time. I got the feeling they thought I was over reacting, saying their people have been installing the tiger loops for over twenty years. Which I took mean, they don't make mistakes. The noise in the burner continued to get louder and more frequent. I finally had to have another company come look at it, and there was in fact excessive air getting into the system that was most likely caused by the 2 loose connections on the tiger loop that were found from when this company installed it 2 weeks earlier. Overtime this could have caused damage to my burner and boiler. I had to pay another company to fix the tiger loop because this company that installed it wasn't concerned enough to schedule a visit.

One of the gas tank supports was severely rotted, as well as the rear frame rails. I did not know that they do rust repair, until I was referred here. The owner, Ricky Barrette, was very sympathetic and respectful to my younger brother, who actually owns the Jeep. My brother had a stroke and cannot speak, so I dealt with Rick on my brother's behalf. Within a couple days of dropping off the Jeep at the shop, Rick had a very detailed estimate ready, complete with photos, and took time out of his very hectic day to review the estimate with me in person. The inspection was so thorough that he and his welder, Josh, discovered some other areas of rot that I had missed when I had my brother's Jeep up on a lift a couple week earlier (and I thought I was thorough). Bottom line, the Jeep would have needed a lot of rust repair, which would involve dropping the gas tank and removing carpeting. The estimate was fair and reasonable, considering the large amount of work that would be involved. After discussing it between my mom, brother and I, we decided that the Jeep was not worth repairing, and will sell it for parts. Although we didn't have any work done by Barrette, I was highly impressed by the level of thoroughness and professionalism. I am a tradesperson and have done estimates myself for fairly complex repair projects on peoples' homes, and I believe that someone who takes the time to be so thorough on an estimate, will also be as thorough on the actual work.

But, if you want to be lied to and then ghosted after paying $200 for deposit, then Sean is your man. I wanted my snow blower serviced before the fall rush. Sean replied quickly to my text and we scheduled a service time with $200 quote and $100 deposit. After a few days, Sean texted again saying he needed $100 to pick up his vehicle to pay AAA/tow. YEP, like a sucker, I bought. That was a week ago. After many texts with no replies, I am the winner of another lesson from yet another person who should not be trusted. Does anyone know of a reasonably affordable snowblower repair service? And perhaps a hero looking to champion another victim of society?
