I ordered mackerel nigiri, avocado maki, and the volcano roll. I have to say, I was pretty delicious. Most of the flavor unfortunately came from the spicy sauce and the mayo sauce, but the mackerel was tasty and the avocado nice and ripe. It wasn't my style of sushi (generally I like as little saucing-up of the fish as possible, the truest and freshest flavors you can get) but I can imagine it would be perfect for others. However, the service was pretty atrocious. I was the only person in the restaurant (sushiya next door was packed and I wanted to taste the competition) and yet still the waitress completely ignored me. There is giving a guest space and there is ignoring a guest. I was ignored.

Dishes are all aesthetically captivating and excite the palette. Shiitake Donut - interesting dish that kind of reminds me of a blend of the takoyaki texture and the classic filling of a mushroom croquette; the mushroom xo shines in the flavor here creating an immaculate depth of flavor. Potato Udon - this dish eats very much like a classic gnocchi; I like the embedding of the asparagus and greens that resolves the dish from pure heartiness; the 'udon' also eats very fluffy, but less-so than the original because of the potato. Place looked good but unfortunately they have had renovations and got rid of the lovely view they had. Such a shame. And I can't rate it five because you serve yourself. The new receipt was obviously put in the till after the fact later and wrong but because I didnt have written receipt with me we where screwed. It gets better on checking the new food & drink receipt at the table we where charged for FIVE drinks not the four we ordered, after a very long argument with the waiter we got the extra drink we never received refunded but told it will take 7-10 days for the refund. If it was not Christmas day and I was not with my wife and family I would have demanded a full refund there and then but obviously if I did that theres not Christmas Dinner on Christmas day for my family. It continued with my wife's parma violet gin coming wrong and being given something disgusting she couldn't drink, at this point we had gave up complaining because they simply didn't care. I personally didn't eat one thing because of the bad taste in my mouth from the experience and couldn't wait to leave. On leaving my wife went to order a taxi onside with my kids whilst I spoke to the owner. To my surprise all I got was an aggressive agourgant little man who sproated ruddish about how he had a million pound turn over binssnes and didnt need my money he did noticed I hadn't eaten a thing and offerd a 1 person refund that ultimately I didn't receive and he clearly just wanted rid of me and in fairness I just wanted to leave completely frustrated and annoyed with the whole situation. On leaving to get the taxi home I found my wife vomiting on the street outside which she is still doing nearly 4 hours later. My best advice would be to avoid this place and if you do go check your receipt and definitely do not book months in advance with cash. At this moment none of that helps with our Christmas ruined watching my wife vomiting time and time again, it's not even food coming up now its just foam fluid bit of freindly advice Mr Basrai's yours customers should always come first and when someone doesn't eat a thing in protest on Christmas day which you noticed theres clearly an issue and playing billy big balls with bravado is not the answer. I and all my family and associates will never step foot in your establishment ever again but I know who will! You should be very careful who you try to rip off and serve bad food to. Avoid this place like the plague, in fact the plague would better than Mr Basrai's. This is the most unprofessional, rude corrupt restaurant that serves food that can put you in hospital where it looking like my wife is heading soon if she doesn't stop being sick soon.

They offer a gluten free menu for takeaway and sit in and have quite a good selection. I had tried their takeaway menu so decided to sit in one night with my mum. We had prawn toast to start which honestly was so good you couldn't tell it was gluten free. I then had the beef curry whilst my mum had chicken balls in sweet and sour sauce. Both was equally delicious but the curry sauce was just slightly too runny for my liking. The chicken balls were lovely and really crispy so a slight difference from the gluten kind you normally get from a takeaway. We shared a fried rice and chips between us. There was a slightly longer wait for food as it's cooked separately but that didn't bother us. The staff are friendly and my mum was offered a free strawberry liqueur once we had finished our meal. It's a bit of a drive from me but It's worth to to be able to enjoy Chinese food without the pain!!,

While I have had pho from Saigon to Hanoi, and am a therefore a little hard to please, I'm more comparing this to other asian food I've had in the UK and US. Even by those standards it is pretty weak. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue - a fabulously rich and spicy beef soup from Hue in central Vietnam. The noodles were tough and bland, and the soup, while well spiced, seemed to lack the depth of flavor that I've come to expect from Pho. Would maybe go again to try the bahn mi or other options.

The flavor is drastically off and the ingredients used to make their pho are totally different. However, IF you are into a fusion form of Pho, take a chance and try this place out. I, clearly, wasn't a fan of the pho here. The noodles had this weird earthy taste while the broth lacked the flavor of beef. The broth was on the sweet side and clearly made to suit western tastes. Coming from Los Angeles, I was really surprised how the dish I had was called pho. However, the ONE thing I did like about the pho was that the beef they used was high quality and tasted amazing. The beef was juicy and tender, as if it would melt in your mouth! Service is dodgy. The servers here offer you service based on what you look like and how you dress. When my friend tried to order her dish while I was in the restroom, the waiter apparently told her "Not now I'm busy". However, when I called him over after returning from the restroom, it seemed as if the gold chain on my neck turned me into a "vip" client. He quickly took my order and apologized to my friend for his error. My personal experience with the service is good, but others might have it differently. On a side note, it seems like my friends really like their stir fried rice noodles. I have yet to try that--but from what I heard they are DELICIOUS.
