Went in for a refill and walked out upset. I came for a blue french tip and they gave me blue nails with a white french tip, i did say something while she was on the second nail and she said yes she's doing french. i thought to myself maybe she knows a different technique. NO i was wrong she didn't. I was in a rush for work the refill took 3 hours. I paid 75 dollars and they refuse to give me a refund. It seems like they had their daughter do a practice run on my nails. Mind you didn't even do my cuticles... as soon as i left i bit them all off and im so upset because my birthday is this weekend, i looked forward to my bday nails. Today was my first time coming here and I just had to write a review! My nails are absolutely PERFECT. One of the best sets I've ever had, they look exactly like the reference pic I brought in and the shape is flawless. Nikky did my nails and she was friendly from the minute I walked in and took me right away! She really took her time helping me pick the colors I wanted and doing the design. I've been to nails salons where I've sat in silence the whole time but definitely not here, Nikky and her husband are both so sweet and personable! Change of management? This place was never great. Frequently, if 0 was a rating, 0 would reflect the service. I finally got one of the barely English speaking techs to do my stilleto nails and prown to ingrown toe nails as I directed. Today, 4/2/21, I went for a pedicure. Apparently they have new management. I got the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I gave the mostly English speaking young man Very Specific Directions. He ignored the all. My nails are so short, if they become ingrown, that salon is getting a visit to demand my money back. My toe nails are misshapen, crooked, the polish is on my skin but does not cover the ragged tops. I don't usually write bad reviews on places and I've had my share of bad manicures but never in my life have I heard of or experienced such an AWFUL manicure. So I always get dip. The lady was rushing and was very sloppy (I looked around and every other person was taking their time) She gave me a rug burn on my finger tips from her filing. When she was taking my current dip off it felt like she was ripping my nails off. My nails aren't even in length and they're crooked. Has anyone heard of crooked nails?! I haven't!! And then this lady had the audacity to say "you need your eyebrows done." Never coming back here again. Just got a gel manicure and the way she took off my old gels was painful and unnecessary. I could've removed them better myself. She also cut just about every cuticle and the skin on the sides of my nails. Then when she was polishing she did it so fast it was touching my cuticles and I know they'll pull up off my nail in a day. Very unhappy. Go somewhere else!!! read more

Horrible! I've gone to this salon twice before, and I always liked the outcome. Today I went in for just a manicure - - not gel - - and it literally took me two full hours. Not only that, but the technician cut my cuticle badly. It was bleeding and she barely took care of it. She had to correct two nails that got dings in them before I had even left. When I got home, I was looking through my purse, brought my hand up, and three of my nails were trashed. I am mediately drove back to the salon, asked for my money back and was told by Jasmine, "we don't do refunds, but I will gladly fix the nails." I told her I had already wasted over two hours of my morning on a half assed manicure. She wouldn't budge. Do not go to this salon!!! read more

I should have read these reviews before I came here today! Please do not spend your hand earned money here!! The woman working here make you feel very uncomfortable. I got a pedi which was fine and a gel manicure here today in which I was very disappointed with it. The polish has large bumps on multiple nails along with gaps where she missed completely even painting my nails. Some on my nails were shiny and matte in other spots overall it was a poor job. I pointed the bumps out to the tech as soon as I noticed and she didn't speak English so she called over another tech to tell me they would fix it. I realized at this point they would need to fix them all so I just wanted the gel removed. When my tech began removing it she was cutting my skin with the filing machine multiple times so the other tech took over to finish. I was explaining to her the reason why I was getting them removed and she kept saying I know I know to keep me quiet. After when I went to pay to leave I was told I was being charged for a manicure along with the pedicure. I didn't receive a manicure my nails were not even painted. The owner told me that I was given a manicure when I was not. I left the salon with my nails worse than when I entered. So I paid for a service I never even received! Omg DO NOT COME HERE! I just paid $60 for my FINGER NAILS! Jasmine charges extra for every little thing. My mom and 3 sisters STOP coming here for that specific reason. Will not be coming back here. Jasmine is so money hungry! (She charged me $20 extra for my nail length) my nails started falling off 2 days later and Jasmine would not fix them. She kept saying this is not a charity. This is the worse nail salon ever.... the manager always has an attitude and she is way over priced! I stopped coming going there Years ago because of her messed up attitude and she basically charges you to breath while getting your nails done! The only reason we went there today is because our regular place was packed and it's the only free time we had. My daughter and I both went in for refills.....I was seated about 10-15 minutes before her, but yet she was done before me(even though all her fingers were bleeding) and after 1 1/2 hours, I left without even getting my nails painted and/or completed because the guy was taking forever ‍ then the snob charges $65 for both refills and gives me more attitude. This salon used to be my go-to years ago when I had acrylic nails on. I tried another salon to get a full set (because it was closer to my work), and was not satisfied, so I decided to go back to Luvz, which used to be my number 1. I am sad to say that after being gone for a few years, I received a horrible refill today. I paid $36 for crooked, bubbly nails. My nail tech didn't let the gel dry before adding another coat, and even cut me twice. I am saddened to say I am so disappointed in this place when I used to be beaming with joy every time I left. After going to Luvz, literally, for years including with my daughter they lost my business. I went for a gel mani, as I usually do. Upon arrival, I was promptly greeted and sat with to put the acetone on for gel removal. Other people walked in and the same greeting ensued. They were told to sit, requiring myself and another customer to move as well as taking my nail aesthetician for the new arrival. I didn't mind knowing the acetone was to sit for a bit. HOWEVER, I sat, WITH ACETONE ON MY NAILS AND DRIPPING DOWN MY PALM, for 50 minutes! After speaking up and requesting to just get the acetone off and the gel, they still charged me $10! Just went in for a lunch time gel manicure. I've gotten my nails done by the owner before and had a good experience, but this time - when the woman doing my nails walked away, i re-filed them myself to actually make the shape consistent. By that point, any length that i had was completely filed away. There is polish all over my skin, the polish is inconsistent and doesn't go all the way to end of the nail. Went in for a mani/pedi with my mom as soon as they opened on Saturday morning. We are in town for a wedding and my aunt who is a regular suggested them. We waited an hour as there were a lot of walk-ins. Unfortunately, the woman rushed through the service. My mother's manicurist cut her several times and was visually offended by her leg hair. It was pretty obvious that she was complaining to a coworker about it. My nails smudged even before I left the salon. There were not enough coats used as you can see streaks and she left paint around my toes. Honestly, it looks like a child did my pedicure. The exfoliating and moisturizing process was lovely and thorough but when it came to painting them, it was obvious she didn't take the time to do a great job.
