My older daughter was having trouble deciding so my three year old son kept tossing around a dog he had decided on. While doing that he dropped it a few times on the floor, where a worker brought that to my attention, understandable, so I placed it in my basket. Finally we had all decided on a jelly cat and my son changed his option to another one I took a look at the dog and he was still in great condition so I put it back. When we were about to pay the cashier bluntly expressed if we would purchasing the dog since my son a dropped it. It wasn't the situation that frustrated me and it was the way I was approached about it. You know what I bought them all because I didn't want to ruin my children's experience that I had hoped would be different. She then tried to be nice about the situation but honestly my husband and me felt uncomfortable. We witnessed another child tossing and licking other stuff animals and left without buying anything, yet here we were buying 3 jelly cats and then almost forced to buy a fourth getting rude customer service. They had heels for you to borrow to try on with your ao dai if you wanted to get the full look. They gave us a dangling Chinese charm to add to the boy's ao dai for a fancier look. They had northern style ao dais as well and the headdresses. The bad: My mom tried haggling and getting a better deal for buying a larger quantity but they weren't for it. While the daughter, who looks over the store, is overall nice, the product they sell is TERRIBLE. There are no instructions on how to wash the outfits, so I looked it up online and people generally hand wash them with cold water to be safe, which is what we did. That was a big NOPE. Immediately, the blue dye on the outfit melted away and blended in with the gold colors, ruining it and the overall vibrance. My wife's hands were stained blue for the entire day. My granite countertops are still stained blue! We were devastated. We came back to the store and asked for a refund/exchange. They were of no help, saying, "We just sell the product. What you do it with it after is your responsibility. You should've made sure to wash it under the clothing's instructions." There were NO instructions! The store owner's daughter and I looked and could not find any; and still, she did not take back her words. This is not how you do customer service. How do you expect a customer to come back if they are left unsatisfied? Why sell products that are of one-time use and of terrible quality? Why not take some accountability? Yes, you sell the product, but you have the power to not sell terrible products and ruin the reputation of your store. Anyways, I hate being a Karen, but I hope they learn from this experience.
