OMG! This place is huge! If you wear wigs you are going to have a great time. I wanted lip gloss so there wasn't all that much to choose from considering the size of the place. I found their accessories to be a bit pricey. The ladies that worked there were very nice and helpful. I will shop there again when in Vegas. read more

So I don't know if this is off color or inappropriate to say, but I'm just going to say it because based on some of the other reviews this is a common issue that not only I've experienced. There's quite a few beauty supply stores around Las Vegas that cater primarily to Black clientele, many of which are Asian run/owned. This is the FIRST Asian owned/run beauty supply store I've been to in my ENTIRE LIFE where the owners/employees didn't seem to resent my presence. It's almost an expected ritual that when I walk into any Nicole's Beauty that the staff and I simply radiate resentment at each other. It's just how it goes. They glare when I walk in, I roll my eyes, they sigh while they ring me up, and I snatch my card back. It's a whole thing I walked into this place and ignored everyone cause I didn't want the anxiety of acknowledging them and being ignored or noticing they're following me etc. So I come in, and first off, they have a really decent selection of braiding hair and crochet hair. So that was nice. I pretty quickly noticed the locs I was looking for and went toward them. I looked around a bit and I was a little stuck but I didn't ask for help because they usually don't help you at Nicole's (except sometimes there's this nice older Black man at one of them and he'll help you if he's there, but I digress!). A girl walked up and asked if I needed help and for like .5 seconds I was wondering if my purse was too big or what. Like did she think I was stealing? Ugh. So I turn to her, and actually look at her, and realize she's seriously asking to help. Like she's standing there and even with the mask I can tell she's actually asking a question and not just speaking to let me know she's watching me. She legit look like she wants to help me! So I'm like, "I'm wearing 18in and the next size up is 24, do you have 20 or 22" and she helped me look and couldn't see it in that style so she suggested a different. Then she pointed out some similar bundles packs to save me some money. THEN she was like "oh what color are you looking for? Sometimes we have other colors around." Tf?? Where am I?! Is this the matrix?! So then I go to buy and the guy is SO FREAKING NICE. He's like "did you find everything ok?" And I'm like why yes indeed sir I did! He checked to make sure all my stuff was there. He showed me the rewards stuff. He told me to have a nice day (????!!!!) and to be safe (!!!). I know this sounds basic but this is NOT a thing at other places. Only issue for me is that they don't have much hair/braid jewelry BUT I found a long shower cap, so that evened it out. I visit the several of the Lux Beauty Supply store on many occasions. I really like going to the Lux Beauty Supply on East Craig Road in North Las Vegas. They have a very large selection of everything you need to make you beautiful. Also the customer service at that store is outstanding. The staff in the store what's very helpful due to the fact that I am disabled. The staff accomplied me with all of the items that I was going to purchase. They know all the products very well which was a great help to me. Because I wasn't quite sure of what I was looking for. She also gave me her input on certain items. Which was very helpful in me making my decisions on what to purchase. The staff is very attentive in helping their customers, especially the disabled customers. read more

What started out as a good shopping experience somehow turned left. Please train your workers to not be so rude. If someone has a question there's no need to nasty. Rude or plain short. I had a question about points and it was a battle to the extent of me being asked why wouldn't I want the points to update my info. Well maybe I didn't want to and it's my prerogative. People are spending their hard earned money at your store, learn to show some kindness. And gratitude. I don't have to shop there but I wanted to, after today It's not worth it to go where it's not appreciated and Not treated with respect. Went here to get Marley hair but unfortunately they don't carry that anymore. They did show me some alternatives though so that was nice of them. Also I got a bit lost in my way over and had to phone for directions and they were nice enough to stay in the line with me til I found the place. Hair was super affordable though I wasn't a fan of how some of it was just piled all over there place. Perhaps they are reorganizing though so that could be why. Overall it was a good experience but I mostly use Marley hair so idk how often I'll return unfortunately. read more

I drove from Centinnel Hills to this store purchased items got home realized they hadnt put the 2 nose rings I purchased into my bag O called the store and after being put on hold for 20 minutes the guy come back and tells me they put them in my bag. Wth really Im going to try to cheat for 2 $2.99 items, they lied and claimed it was on video the young lady putting my items into the bag. That is bs and they have lost my whole family as customers!! Don't think I'll be back arrived 10 mins before closing only to find door locked while a young lady stood on inside with shopping customers & stated they weren't closed tried to get key but owner denied stating they are closed. I recommended they should change time to 7:45 if they are going to lock doors as I rushed to this location before closing time to make purchase needed for next day I mean how long can a person take to shop in a beauty supply .... poor customer service def consider changing time if your going to lock door 10 mins before posted time read more

I've purchased a number of wigs from this place and they never look the same when you get them home as they did on the display's head. I've thrown the ones I didn't like in the closet and hoped they'd grow on me but they never did. Today was the last straw. After not going back for several months, I thought I'd give it one more chance but big mistake. I got home after purchasing a wig today, tried it on, and once again found it to be horrible. After looking at the receipt, I found they only offered exchanges so I rushed back only to be told if I read further all wigs sales are final. Guess they only offer exchanges on cheap items like bandannas and such. I advised the manager this was deceptive and that I'd only been gone for 30 minutes but he was not swayed. Wasn't worth the effort to complain any further so I threw the monstrosity of a wig in the trash, told him I'd never come back, and walked out. Wish I had done it 6 wigs earlier! read more

I like the fact that I've been able to find the same curly hair the last couple of times I've gone bc I really like how it looks on me lol. I also like their rewards program. I recently visited the new Lux Beauty Supply Warehouse 3630 Sahara Ave. I was pleasantly greeted when I entered and immediately asked if I needed any assistance. Just Browsing, but actually my granddaughter and I were in shock, the store is huge. It had every kind of everything you could imagine. My granddaughter almost fainted when she saw the children's hair beads, ponytail holders, barrets, etc. Every color imaginable, at least 3 aisles! The hair, every brand, color, length. Wigs galore including human hair. Hair products and accessories of every kind and brand. In addition, a cute boutique for Vegas night outs. Most important, their prices seemed line with other beauty supply and major retailers. They also have customer point program. I appreciate good service and assistance while not having the feeling of being followed or suspected. I highly recommend this store and hopefully you have a satisfied experience too. Thanks! read more
