Service was requested and they texted back within minutes. They suggested to come over the next morning with patches of the blinds to test colors. We agreed on a quality patch that would NOT block sunlight but provide full privacy at night and day time. The semi blackout is the way to go so we still have bright light in the house while the blinds are closed. This is what we wanted. I was shopping for motorized blackouts and screens for my apartment and after I did some research I contacted about four companies including this one based on the reviews I saw. The only company that I had an outstanding service from the very beginning to end was Lux Blinds Design. I spoke to Andres, the owner, since I read how good he was. I asked him to be the person guiding me through the process of choosing the right elements for my house as I was not really familiar with the different options. I got an appointment with him the very same day. When he arrived to my house, I could tell how professional he was beginning with his appearance followed by the preparation and the presentation of the different options available (textures, quality and price). He brought videos, catalogs and pictures for me to see the different options available. He also explained the difference between screens and the percentage of the amount of light going through. The same day I received his estimate detailing every item with each price per item. At that point I knew that after all of that and even though I had not received any other estimates, I was convinced that I was going to hire him. After a few days passed by, he came back to my house and brought some samples. A week later, I received a call from another company and even though at that point I had already made my mind, the company asked me to give them a chance which I did. The other company came and that made me reassure my decision about Lux Blinds Design. I hired Lux Blinds, we arranged the installation based on my hectic schedule and the date of the installation , they were sharp on time and ready. The installation took less than expected and they finished the work. I love my motorized black outs and screens. I loved the end result. Highly recommend using Lux Blinds Design. The entire process was seamless. The true is I request a quote from another company which came to my house, took measurements and didn't give me a quote for over a week! I then decided to look elsewhere and I found Lux Blinds Design and I'm so happy I did. Yami and Andres came the same day I request a quote, measured my windows and showed me samples. They sent me a quote within two days just like they said they would. Once I chose what I wanted Yami came back to my home to confirm the samples I wanted.
