Based on that conversation, I felt confident enough to move forward and travel for treatment. When I arrived at the clinic, I was initially treated very well--everyone was welcoming and friendly, which I appreciated. However, when it came time to go over pricing, I was quoted a completely different amount than what I had been told over the phone. When Noemi checked with Ernesto about the discrepancy, her attitude toward me became rude and dismissive. I even asked to speak with someone else because of how uncomfortable the interaction became. Despite this, I still went ahead and paid for the service. Later, I called Ernesto directly to clarify the situation, hoping for a professional and respectful conversation. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He went on a rant, did not allow me to explain my concerns, and made an inappropriate comment saying, "just because we are Mexican." I immediately told him that I am married to a Mexican and that this was not relevant to my concern. Instead of listening, he continued speaking rudely to me for about 15 minutes. Overall, this was a very poor customer service experience, specifically from Ernesto and Noemi. It's incredibly frustrating to travel from another country expecting quality care--especially based on positive reviews--only to be treated this way. I had one tooth in the front that was sensitive and the crown came off 3 times in the states. 3 dentists in the states glued the crown on but it would come off again a short time later. She did a little driving and attached another crown. 1 year later and my crown is still intact. 1 visit to Mexico vs 6 visits in the states to fix a crown. You be the judge. I like one visit.

The cost in the US is $6K for one which is cost prohibitive for me vs. $2,000 in MX ((including extraction, post, bone graft and crown) plus travel, hotel and food as the crown takes staying overnight 2 nights. The negative reviews regarding the quality of the work scares me but so far all is fine. I haven't gotten the crown on the implant as yet as you have to wait 4 months inbetween but so far, the post is fine. However, during healing, the suture came loose and the only solution was to return there, which is not really doable or convenient at all. Additionally, you get moved from one room/person to another for different things to be done. They don't tell you much about what is going on, and they are speaking Spanish among themselves while the work is being done, or while you are in the chair waiting. All you can do is hope they know what they are doing. HERE'S the PROBLEM. You have to pay upfront and they do not provide an itemization of the charge. I suggest you demand a receipt at the time you pay, especially if you use any cash! I paid with a little cash and the rest on a card (which they charge a 4% fee on). They said I paid $100 in cash when I actually paid $200. Joe at the desk called me a couple days after my appt and said I owed $50 more due to a miscalculation on his part. I reviewed it with him pointing out that I didn't think that was correct. He said he'd look at it and call me back. He never called me back and I made several attempts to reach him. Turns out he overcharged me $50. One time when I called him to follow up, he said he had other patients to take care of. His attitude and lack of follow through is rude and non-professional and a total turn-off for this business. I finally got someone else on the phone and told them my problem and was referred to Diana, patient coordinator. I emailed her several times but her responses were not helpful. I asked to speak to someone else or the doctor but that did not happen, and the issue has still not been resolved. I gave a 3-star rating only. While their work appears to be good and that is the most important, they sorely lack in customer service and that destroys confidence.

Circle Dental doesn't have modern technology, they take a mold and send it to the lab and the lab tech does shit work! The two day job took 4 days because the teeth didn't fit and were horrible! The lab tech is a vital part of the office and he lacks training and ability. It took three times and the dentist still had to modify them pretty significantly to get my bite correct. I asked for a discount since I incurred additional expenses staying two extra days (hotel and food), but supposedly the owner is the only one who can issue refund and he was absent, so they put a note in my file for a discount on future work...... They currently only accept cash or check. The office is literally across the street from the border. So once you park on the US side, it is 5 minutes to walk to the office. You simply cross the street to leave through the border control. Clean, Safe, Enjoyable, close to many pharmacy options. They speak English quite well, so no worries about not understanding what is going on. And they print out all steps in your dental plan with pricing. HIGHLY recommend.

We had gone to our…read moreusual dentist here in AZ and they stated we needed approximately $8k in treatments between the two of us. I had seen a program about 3 months prior that talked about the high quality of dental care available at the "Molar City" in Mexico (aka Los Algodones). Remembering that show, I did a bit of research online and decided that Dental Solutions would be our clinic of choice, and I'm so glad I made that decision. First off, getting there from the Phoenix area was relatively easy. Just like taking a trip to Yuma. The border crossing was a very smooth and easy process and once on the other side we called a number gives to us by the clinic and were picked up in their shuttle car by a friendly and personable driver. In reality, the clinic is walking distance from the border (about 4 blocks) and we actually walked back, but the shuttle was a nice option as well. The clinic itself is a newer 3-story building, well constructed and designed. It had the same quality of design and feel as our regular dentists' office in upscale Scottsdale. The front desk staff was friendly and the check-in process was rather simple and straight-forward. In minutes after check in my wife and I both headed back separately and were examined and evaluated by the staff. Everyone spoke clear English and they confirmed what work needed to be done. The cost for all the work that was suggested was approximately 25% of what we we were quoted by our US dentist, and even with adding Zoom whitening it was still drastically less than what we would pay in the states. A big positive was that they freely accepted IS credit cards including Amex, which showed me that they have confidence in the work they provide given the patients power to dispute with cards. Once we had our procedures it went very smooth.. The dentist and dental techs involved were friendly and communicative and did a great job. All the equipment was new and state-of-the-art--again feeling no different than our Scottsdale dental experiences. A month and a half after doing work and everything feels great. Our teeth are healthy and white. We will be going back in September and bringing our teenage kids as well. As an added bonus, the city of Algodones is quaint and charming and we enjoyed a nice lunch and some shopping afterwards. If you need major dental work don't pay insane prices just because you live in the US--I'd strongly suggest you give Dental Solutions a call. You'll get great care and service at a price that is affordable without sacrificing quality of care.
