He came on time to pick up us. We weren't quite ready, but he waited patiently. There were 7 of us. We rode in the immaculate white Explorer. We were a little cozy, but it was fine. Fred was very accommodating, flexible, friendly, helpful and kind. One of my grandsons is handicapped and he was very helpful with him. Let him ride in the front with him and helped with his walker. We were allowed to bring snacks and water which we indulged in between stops. He dropped us off at the door and we did not see him again until it was time to move on to the next stop. One of the wineries was closed for a wedding so he substituted another winery on the opposite side of the tour we were doing, but were interested in because the winery has a store in our town that we go to often. We had a great time! If you are in doubt, go for it. We met his wife, Heidi, at one of the stops and I am sure she would be just as good.

A call to PATS (though disconnected twice; apparently the shuttle service is new, and few ask to go out to Benton Highway as I did) got me setup for the nearly one hour ride... for $20. A bargain! My driver was fantastic, and when I'd commented on the price he mentioned the service is starting up (which in my mind, translated out to be things would cost more as the kinks work out -- though aside from the disconnected calls, there were none). The driver picked me up at the Paducah airport (and arrived 15 minutes earlier than I'd requested, even better as it was a no-hassle walk from the plane to the front door), and about 60 minutes later I was at my destination. We took our RV in for a repair on the roof in Nov of 2025. We did not get the RV back until Feb of…read more2026. At this time there was snow and ice on the ground and we were unable to inspect the RV for a few days. Once we did, we found that the work was not good. It looked like they had busted the roof rails, there were gaps in the seal around the skylights and along the front. We notified Open Roads and they said to bring it back in and they would make it right. They had our RV for 2.5 more months. This time when we picked it up, they admitted that they had broken the roof rails previously and that they were replaced this time. Everything appeared to be fixed. Then 2 months later after several weeks of rain, we noticed that the shower had water in it. When we investigated, we found that the skylight had not been sealed at all. While Open Roads has been friendly and helpful, I am not secure with their work. My camper is only 2 years old.

Depending on the time of day and the time of year, you might even find a shady spot to take a snooze before heading back. There is a small playground, a vending area and restrooms that were in decent shape. It looks very small from the street and maybe only have 8-9 rooms I think. It was very easy to check in and the lady was very nice. There is covered parking right in front of your room door. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. It had a spacious living room area with a tv sofa coffee table and large chair, along with a kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, sink, actual dishes, coffee maker, a dining room table that seated 4 people. The king size bed was in this room. There was a small bathroom in the hall. There was a door that led to the other bedroom in the suite that had its own tv, a queen size bed, and then a huge bathroom. The shower was a walk in shower and was about as big as the other bathroom in the hall! The beds were very comfortable (I kinda wish I had that mattress at home) and the rooms were very clean. It felt like we were at a home away from home. Bonus was that they are pet friendly! There was some wear and tear in a few places. There was a little paint peeled off in the queen bedroom at the baseboard and the tile on the kitchen counter was cracked pretty good. It was nothing that was really noticeable if you weren't OCD lol. The checkout process was easy....just leave the keys on the table. We will definitely be staying here again if our family reunion is in KY again next year!

Booked a month long stay here to see our son at Murray State. It was off season - quiet and…read morepeaceful. Owners can make or break a campground and these folks are fantastic. They are on site everyday and keep the place well maintained. They are friendly, helpful and not rule crazy like some campgrounds - the only rule I heard was try not to park in the grass. My wife will cram herself in the RV shower to avoid public showers, but here she was happy to find nice clean restrooms with great shower facilities. Only downside is no sewer on sites but they come around and pump your tanks when needed, which given the availability of great public showers isn't needed more than one a week.

Seay's was able to get us in a newer, clean vehicle quickly and help us get back on our way. The return trip to South Carolina was a frustrating nightmare too. I attempted to make reservations with another rental company so I could return the vehicle to Seay's and get everyone home. After receiving confirmation and cancellations twice from Enterprise in 48 hours, I contacted Seay's and explained the situation. They gladly extended the rental through Sunday and sent the invoice to my email. While all the larger companies like Enterprise and Hertz car rental were playing games, Seay's provided friendly service and held to their word.
