The follow up messages to confirm my appointment were appropriate & when I arrived, was another message they wanted me to alert them when I arrived. The building is secured, so I could appreciate that aspect of the appointment. You can never be too secure while being relaxed & vulnerable. Walking inside the secure building is filled with several other businesses, not only Spaology. They are tucked away in the back but don't be fooled. It's far more expansive than you may realize. On to the massage. Kelsey was an absolute delight. Normally, I'm like "shoosh" it's quiet time now, but. I did enjoy chatting with her for a bit & getting to know who she was, why she started doing massages, for how long, what type she did, etc. I opted for the Body & Soul massage 90 min with an added scalp massage at the end, because I definitely needed 90 min but did the I didn't want a "working" massage where she really dug into my deep knots but wanted to relax and get some of the knots out too. She did an AMAZING job. I was honestly so relaxed and felt so fabulous when I left. She gave awesome instructions & suggestions about what to do for post-massage care to help address all the toxins that would be free flowing in my body that she got moving. I will absolutely go back to see her & will absolutely recommend Spaology & Kelsey. Truly, phenomenal job. Super reasonable prices. Easy booking. Relaxing environment. I accidentally touched the acrylic with the black paint on the side of my finger and he huffed and grabbed my hand really fast. Which then resulted in me being even more nervous. Not only did he grab my hand fast but the way he was filing my nails and treating them hurt. My thumbs are aching today and I'm full of frustration thinking about the situation. I didn't understand what he wanted me to do with each step cause he would just aggressively point and expect me to know what to do. After all this I was charged a total of almost 120 dollars I believe. Which is weird because as I stated earlier 30 and 60 does not equal 120... throughout the time getting my nails done I heard quite a few women asking why the total was so expensive. I asked as well and there was no clear answer. I couldn't go here again and I recommend others find literally anywhere else. Save your time, energy, mindset and money for a company worth it. *extra notes since I can't post a review on google* I requested a normal pedicure (20$) and an acrylic set (60$) so how in the world was the total 120? Because they didn't listen to the services I wanted even after reminding multiple people multiple times. There was toe nail clippings, finger nail clippings, false nails, all over the place. She said sit down at number 5.. the seat was clinging for dear life to be cleaned The art is messy.. would be fine if my thumbs weren't aching and had to apply antibiotic cream cause I'm terrified due to their cleanliness I will get an infection.
