They opened not too long ago and my sister has already been there twice and said they were amazing. Decided to give it a try today and I don't think I can go anywhere else. Before this I had got shellac from somewhere in Toronto for $20. And then I got it done here for $8 more and there is such a difference. At lux she paid so much more attention to cleaning my cuticles and did such a good job with it. She also did an amazing job applying the shellac. Usually they always leave a noticeable gap between the polish and the cuticles, but she did such a good job and my nails look amazing. This place will definitely be my go to.

I am absolutly disgusted I got my nails done first time on thur I called then before to see if the ombré machine was working they told me yes I then went and go my nails done where I had a tech not even know how to use the machine being on a time limit cause of school i told her whatever dont worry about it I then was done they charged me 85$ for nails I didnt want and plus the nails were done so poorly that I had signs of growth leaving the salon I then called them where I was consistently told she will do ombré but wont give me my money back where I even said I would take 50% only back to get them done somewhere else she said no come back tomorrow I will do it so I did where I was told she will do the ombré and fix the nails which she did but she rushed through is and must have missed a step cause now all my shellac is peeling off the nails I called today as there was a holiday and she is pretty much blaming me and saying she will do one color on my nails no I want at least 50% of my money back so I can go get them done somewhere who cares she has told me no and now I am here please be careful this is disgusting behaviour of a business owner pedi and nails on kortright is where to go Julie treats people fair and if a mess up is done she makes sure u leave happy #luxnailsguelph read more

I recently moved to Guelph and have tried a couple other salons. Lux nail spa is by far the best. I am always happy with my nails and the technicians are very friendly. They do take walk-in's but are usually very busy. I highly recommend calling ahead. read more

Although the atmosphere and decorations were very nice, I am a bit disappointed in my delux pedicure. My feet still have a lot of dry skin on them and the only tool used on the bottom of my feet was a buffer like scrubber which barely removed anything. It would have been nice if there was a scrapper as well. The delux pedicure did not seem worth the $65+ dollars it to me. read more

I am really upset with my experience at lux nails this is my 5th time here I will not be returning I was verbally harassed by staff when leaving went to pay the girl gave me my total that was fine then her and coworkers harassed me and threatened me that I had to tip and if I don't they will charge me more also when giving back cash they gave the wrong amount back I am under no obligation to tip not only did I deal with this but my twelve-year-old witnessed the rudeness very unprofessional I will not return . read more

i have had so many issues over the years getting my nails done and i have always had to fix them after myself. this never happens at lux nails they know exactly what to do every time. i have recommended all of my friends to go here and they all have had nothing but great things to say. if you are looking for a regular nail salon that will always know what to do for ur nails GO HERE! read more

Lux has been my go to, favourite place to relax since they have opened! Now I go every 2 weeks just to unwind from my busy days at work, and enjoy getting my perfectly done nails every time! I moved to Guelph a few months ago and have been going to Lux nail spa. I always made an appointment but was kept waiting at least 15 minutes every time. The shop is clean and Tina did a good job so I put up with it. I had a 9:30 am appointment this morning and arrived at 9:35 am. I walked in and was told they gave my appointment away to a walk-in. They actually told me to come back later. The only way to explain this poor customer service is greed. They keep me waiting due to walk-ins and also give my appointment away just to get more people in. I definitely won't go back and do not recommend this shop read more

The lady who came in behind me to get dip powder had hers removed properly by wrapping cotton balls soaked in acetone around her fingers. So afterwards my hands are cracking dry. 3) the nail tech forced UV light processing which is not necessary for dip powder and the reason I get it. Clearly she does not know how the process works. She claimed it makes the dip shiny. 4) I was told I was done but my nails have streaks and rough spots. The pics do not show the horrible job enough. I paid $50 for a horrible nail job I will have to get redone when I get home next week.

Just had the most amazing pedicure at Lux Nail Spa last night! It's their winter pedicure pampering special .....$48 and so worth every penny. They put lemon and ginger in the water and a mask on your legs to exfoliate all that dry winter skin (feels fabulous and a great cooling sensation) followed by a Devine massage.
