How her mom was on Molokai celebrating her bday, how she's not always sitting at the sewing table, blah blah blah! Being completely unprofessional. Set up another appointment for her fitting. Even though her prom was 5 days away from her prom date. Tati set up our 2nd appointment and again told me I was a set. Not even giving me the price I needed to pay so they can start alterations. Weeks passed a terrible storm hit Maui. Understood that the store got flooded. Called days later and asked about my daughter's dress. Just wanted to make sure if it was okay. Paige answered and was completely RUDE. As if I didn't have the right to ask. Asked if I could get a call back. NO CALL. Not even a call on where the new location was. Finally the day came to pick up the dress. Walked in. Tati AGAIN!!! Being completely RUDE! Just no smile. No greetings. I volunteered recently over a few days to help fit and dress students which was such a satisfying way to give back to our community. Each student is handled individually, measured and assisted in choosing a prom outfit with accessories to take home, along with a 'loot bag' full of goodies and a $50 voucher. Elly's organizes a huge amount of donated goods, and offers free rentals if there isn't anything available in their size. Elly's staff volunteer too and do a great job. If it wasn't for Elly's and the generosity of the sponsors and those who donate many students wouldn't be able to afford an outfit for prom. Congratulations to all involved in making our Lahaina youth shine at Prom :)
