Our accommodations as guests attending the wedding for the weekend were in the "Tudor" room. The four poster bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows. HVAC didn't appear to be adjustable but was quite comfortable nonetheless. Bathroom had a very large Jacuzzi as well as sink and walk in shower. Plenty of hot water, strong pressure, very refreshing. The grounds are absolutely amazing and neatly landscaped. The food for the event, including dinner and breakfast were spot on! All-in-all, simply charming.

We checked out of the Holiday Inn Express in Owings Mills this morning, and unfortunately, our stay…read morewas full of issues from the start. First, the bathroom hand towel was dirty or stained before we even used it, and there were only two towels provided. The in-room coffee situation was just as bad--the coffee maker was dusty and full of old water, and once we tried to clean out the old water the spout was corroded and it sprayed coffee everywhere instead of brewing properly. On our first morning, I went downstairs to get coffee (since the in-room option was unusable). I poured in some cream only to have it curdle in my cup. The expiration date was February 2025, so I tried to find a different one--only to discover bugs crawling out from underneath the container. I told the staff, and they just shrugged and said, "Sorry." To make matters worse, the floors in the lobby were so sticky that my shoes literally stuck as I walked. We asked housekeeping to bring towels and clean the coffee area and shelves, but nothing was done. Later that night, after a long day, we called down again for towels around 9 PM and were told we had to come to the front desk to pick them up ourselves. I finally decided to try breakfast on our second morning, hoping for at least some pancakes. The sign for the pancake machine was up--but there was no machine. What was labeled a "sanitizing station" was just an open bottle of cleaning fluid. The eggs were burnt, and the cold items consisted of a gallon of milk and a few yogurts. It was nothing like any other Holiday Inn I've stayed at. Sadly, this experience has left me very hesitant to book a Holiday Inn Express again. I don't have super high expectations for hotels, but this stay was just gross.

I had to call another hotel and get a room. called the manager several times, no return call and not get anyone from corporate to talk to me. twice I have been hung up on. Poorest service ever.
