We rented the double lane blow up slip and slide for my son's 21st birthday. (He consented to celebrating with family the weekend after celebrating with friends.) Every one loved it. All ages loved it. The over 50 crowd spent as much time sliding as the kids. There were 70 year olds slipping and sliding! Blow ups are much easier for those of us that aren't so young any more. Once everyone wore themselves out we climbed on and sat under the cooling mist in the shade and relaxed for a while. The biggest bonus was that the relatives with small children found themselves with peaceful, worn out, happy campers that slept well! The Party Hoppers reservations were seamless, all my questions were answered and responded to quickly. Set up was quick and efficient. Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and accomidating! It was worth every penny!

He did an amazing job at maintaining the "pace" of the event by doing things like introducing the wedding party, special dance, garter/bouquet tosses, and letting guests know when it was their tables turn to visit the buffet. The chicken was battered and fried to perfection and drizzled with just the right amount of honey. The succotash was wonderful. Fava beans made it unique. We had the Little Pond salad with the candies pecans and dried plums, outstanding. Meals are served at communal tables which was fun because we met some new people and enjoyed a good conversation. I called Tony about a month ago and asked him to cater our annual meeting for the nonprofit I work for. I received his name based on a recommendation from Christi at Pine Valley Market. (Christi is my go to caterer but was booked). I spoke to him and told him that we were looking for a picnic type dinner and he asked me to send an email since he was in the kitchen and not taking notes. I did so and waited to hear back. And waited. I called him today to see if he had received my email and got the response of "yeah, but I don't really check emails". Okay, but you asked me to email you. He then asked what my budget was and when i told him it was approximately $15 per person he balked and said that he doesn't offer lunches for under $17. Then he went on and on about how much party supplies cost, etc. etc. Now, I'm sorry, but this is not the first event I've put on. I know how much a tent is going to cost. I know how much party supplies are. But to have me assume that we were booked and then to learn that you're just not interested is a shoddy way of doing business. I understand if you can't meet my budget, but tell me so; don't lead me on. I'm not scrambling to find a caterer in just over a month's time. Buyer beware is my warning. And just for the record, Pine Valley Market always meets my budget and the food is exceptional.
