DO NOT WORK WITH CATHERINE MARTINEZ FROM LUXE. Working with Catherine Martinez from Luxe Properties, LLC has been a challenging experience. Despite representing a remarkable landlord, her professional conduct during the closing process was not aligned with my expectations. Catherine arrived notably late to the closing--which, while sometimes considered part of the Miami pace, set a tone for the interaction. Upon arrival, she did not offer the courtesy of an introduction. During the final walkthrough and subsequent closing activities, I found her demeanor to be discourteous and confrontational. Instead of facilitating a smooth transaction, she appeared to regard the process as a burden, despite the fact that it was part of her professional responsibilities for which she would receive commission. It became apparent that I had to assert my position to ensure that pre-existing damage was acknowledged in the walkthrough documentation. I decided not to proceed with signing until these concerns were adequately addressed. Based on this experience, my view is that Catherine's approach to real estate would benefit from a stronger emphasis on customer service and a more respectful treatment of clients necessary for a realtor's role. read more
