Had a great pedicure yesterday while visiting a friend. We made an appointment for 1130 and they were ready for us when we arrived. She had a baby in a stroller and they found us the perfect spot to put her next to us while we enjoyed our pedicures. I got the spa pedicure which included the usual and took about 30 minutes. They have upgraded versions as well if you want a different experience. They also do gel on toes which my friend got. They offer you a choice of a coke or water before starting which is nice and my Diet Coke was ice cold. If I lived in the area I would definitely be back. read more

It's one thing to over charge and do a good job but to over charge and the set be awful is another. I hadn't been to this location in forever and now I know why. Stopped in to get a fill polish and pedi. My set was so fat I can't even slit down my Nvrmd. I recently moved to the area and my daughter-in-law was coming to visit on her spring break. We decided to get pedis. I read reviews on several salons and decided to schedule our appointments. We arrived and we picked our colors. As we began our appointments, her tech was wonderful taking his time. Mine brusquely began my pedi. In the process he jabbed the inside of my calf with his very long thumbnail twice. As he was trimming my cuticle, he started pulling rather than cutting and it hurt. I asked him to stop pulling and to cut it. He did. But today my toe is quite sore and somewhat red. In addition, when we were asked which service we wanted, we chose the lowest priced one. When paying, it was an additional $18.00 because we chose gel polish. We were not told that would increase the price. read more

First time here. I had a pedicure. It was nice. The service was friendly. The reason for the 2 star, the guy doing my nails refused ( politely) not to do nail art. He said because I am not getting gel nails he will not do it. He was very polite, however if you are knowledgeable about nails you should know how to do nail art on regular nail polish. For most of the last year, I have been working 2-3 jobs to try and make ends meet. I survived the holidays, but all of my 3 kids have winter birthdays. my daughter turns 21 next week, and has a trip scheduled. she has serious social anxiety, but I convinced her to let me take her for a special mani, while I got a pedi just before she left. when we entered the salon, I showed them a picture of exactly what she wanted, and asked if they could do it. They looked at the pic, and enthusiastically assured me it was no problem. once I was involved in my pedi, and the gel polish was done on her hands, they told her they couldn't do the nail art, and asked if she was ok with just a heart outline. Then, it looked so bad they had to fill it in to try to save it. My social anxious daughter said, "um, I guess.." I skimped and saved for this luxury on a very special occasion. They blew it. When they overheard me telling my daughter I wasn't happy at all with their "work", I was surround by 3 men who were entirely unapologeti. They were defensive, arrogant, and attempted to be intimidating. I will never return to this place. It used to be a luxurious, wonderful place. my last 2 visits over the past 2 years(yes, this is a rare treat for me) have been less than expected. This last visit has been down right disheartening, and incredibly disappointing. To the manager who was so rude-you should be embarrassed at how you behaved. you have no business in this industry. you Ruined this for myself, and you certainly didn't help my daughter's social anxiety. You should have simply told me that you were unable to do the nail art. we could have either gone elsewhere, or worked with you to find something your staff could do. Once you saw we weren't happy, you could have been pleasant, and offered a small discount, and I would have thought, "oh, well...sure. Thanks for realizing you didn't deliver. It happens. I went to Luxor because my regular salon has closed. I was needing a full set of acrylic nails. When asked what color I wanted I said I wanted a French manicure. The guy started putting the tips on and I noticed he was using white tips. I told him I didn't want white tips, but I wanted a French manicure (two different things). He became upset and told me he was going to take the tips off and I could go somewhere else because I didn't know what I wanted. He was rude and very unprofessional! I knew exactly what I wanted and what I asked for. I also know that since I was paying, I should be able to get what I asked for! I would not recommend Luxor for any service!!! read more

I had the worst pedicure yesterday , 20 mins for 32 dollar ! The person named kelly did mine , she didn't do any details to my toes instead of just using a machine to surf around my toes and during entire time talking with someone next to her , I didn't feel good about my toes , she didn't treat my toes like normal routine ! While I am done , the women sit next to me just started to get her toes painted! I came home and take it off and done it all over myself , I did much better work than what she did ! First, I do like the end result of the manicure, with the Cat eye polish. The pedicure is decent too, but the guy didn't seem to notice that he left a mark or two of polish on my skin. The guy needed to cut his own nails shorter so they didn't dig into my hands and feet. I also don't see them using Sanitized tools when first starting on your nails. Walkd in with no appointment! Took me right in and had me settled quickly and the massage chair going! Don didn't say much but did everything I expected. On an RV trip through Kentucky, we stopped in Paducah And four of us needed to have our nails done. Oh lady we met at the restaurant recommended Luxor to us and we dropped in unannounced hoping to get appointments. They had us in those comfy chairs with our feet in hot water and less than five minutes. Even the manager rolled out to do one of us. After the pedicures and toenail painting the three ladies had fill manicures. All four of us were happy with the results and would recommend the salon to anybody in this area. The bill was significantly less than what we would've expected in Southern California. The gal who did my nails was named Kim and she was fast, careful, accomplished, and had a good sense of humor. He didn't use the toe separators on my toenails sooooo my toenail polish was ruined before I ever left. Did get in quickly. Maya was my nail tech and seemed mad the whole time. Music playing was what you would hear in a club so not relaxing like you would expect for a spa like experience. I found the envrionment to be dirty and things broken. My massage chair didnt work, they didnt soak my hands, the massage wasnt worth calling it a massage at all. I would not recommend coming here if you want decent looking nails. I received shellac from a guy named Kevin. The shellac was messy, and is on the skin around my finger tips. It is also very uneven and probably should've received another coat, though I'm not sure it would come off of my skin so easily if it had another coat. My mother and I had made appointments for pedicures and I had purchased the basic "Refresh Spa" service for $32 + gel polish. Crystal was my technician and she was great! Very professional, caring and took her time to overcome my one (not so pretty) foot. LOL! This is my first time going. Would go back but for more simple nails. Don't go wanting something out of the ordinary, I did and got a generic version of what I wanted. The inside of the building is nice. The lady at the door is very nice, she helps a lot. She asked me if I would like a drink (water, Sprite, etc) while you wait. I couldn't understand the person at all who did my nails. I got acrylics (already had acrylics on so I just got a fill and a color change) and the coffin shape is perfect and the red color is too but I wanted clear with glitter on some of my nails and got a full red nail with glitter on top. Also the glitter nails are very bumpy and too thick. Overall it's a good nail salon if you just want one color with no extra things added. The cost was $40 for the fill and Shellac paint. read more

Appearance of the place was very nice! I purchased pedicure and manicure with dip polish. The technician was not very skill on the dip. My polish is uneven and bumpy. She filled my index finger tip at a slant. Have have had the dip polish done serval times and after a week of having them they are faded white. $118 done the drain. read more
