Not sure where to start. This is a private owned salon and the owner clearly doesn't care about the…read morestylist who rent from her. It is dated and looks like it was decorated from the goodwill. Not in a cool or hip way. My first clue was when I had to reschedule my appointment and the owner booked me with HER. I had clearly stated I wanted the make stylist. It wasn't until a assistant called to see where I was since I missed my appointment that I found out she never told the stylist and booked me with herself. He said he would cancel that appointment with her and make a new one. The visit was ok (the male stylist Carlos I think) did a good job with color and cutting my hair. The other issue I had was I called and spoke to the owner if they took credit cards when I rescheduled. She said of course. When I went to pay she wouldn't let the stylist use the companies credit card machine. He went and asked her if she could please take it this time and she refused! So he let me leave to run to the bank. I did and came back but couldn't believe what a mess this while thing was. I really like the stylist but am not sure if I want to try and come back here. I also doubt they have assistants and am pretty sure I talked to the stylist when I called. This place is so small they don't have a receptionist or other workers that I saw. If you like to watch drama unfold come here who knows what will happen.

All she needed to use was clippers and then scissors on top to layer it but she just used scissors all around and chopped it up! I like stuff very even cause of my ocd but I tried to get layers to kinda help me with it but this made my ocd flair up even more. I tired to get her to fix it and with clippers but she insisted on using scissors again but she finally semi listened when I said just shave it off...so I thought! She ended up trying to fade it and mix the layers but it was in some spots. Don't get me wrong she was nice but didn't like listening! When I was done; I walked past a little kid getting the same haircut I wanted but with longer bangs by the girl who greeted me when I came in!! When I got home I just shaved it all off to the scalp cause my ocd couldn't handle the unevenness but luckily I've shaved my head a few times already and don't care much about hair cause it grows back. I really just want a change and the fact I paid for it makes me mad..
