First of all, I wasn't planning to sell my unit for another year. Craig found me by calling every owner of 1 bedroom units in the entire area for a client of his. This in itself was impressive to me because it showed that he wasn't scared of doing the hard work in making his client satisfied. The reason Craig won the listing after that was dual-fold. He showed up on time. He was dressed for success (in a full suit on an 80 degree day) and he instantly made me feel at ease. I left our initial appointment feeling completely confident that I had chosen the right real estate professional. Craig had my listing up with professional photos within hours. An agent caravan was scheduled for the same week. He worked around my busy vacation rental schedule and made sure that I knew who was entering the property and when. After a week, we had 5 qualified offers and we were able to push the purchase price up to over $100k above the latest comp in the building. I owe this all to my excellent agent that worked day and night promoting my listing. After we accepted the first offer, we had a cancellation about 2 weeks into escrow. Craig was able to recommend a very reasonably priced handy man to fix the cabinet crown molding in the kitchen and he was also able to recommend a reliable and cheap plumber to fix the drip from the bath faucet. Craig held an open house for realtors only (something I had never heard of) to generate buzz on the unit and from that open house the unit had four offers and was sold at a higher asking price within a day.
