In late 2021, my brother and I decided to sell the two rental properties that we owned in San Diego. I live in Oakland, and my brother lives out of the country. I interviewed at least 10 agents, remotely, as this was still pandemic time. Kimberly impressed me immediately, not only with her knowledge, but she came across as someone who would give 110% to get the job done. We sold both properties in early 2022, and Kimberly did an outstanding job. She led us through the sales process, and handled any issues that arose. Every call, email and text was answered very promptly. When work had to be done, she had reliable people who got the work done quickly and at reasonable prices. She even helped the buyers on one of the properties get financing. We were very satisfied with the price we received and all the hard work she put in to get both deals closed. Move on to September, 2023, and this is where Kimberly really shined. I received a letter from the Franchise Tax Board, demanding a huge amount of money, and saying that the withholding taxes on the sales were not received. In December 2023, my brother received a similar letter, demanding even more money. It turned out that the escrow company did send the money, but did not fill out the paperwork properly. Kimberly spent countless hours on the phone with the escrow company, arguing on our behalf, and doing everything in her power to get this resolved. She could have easily said that this is no longer my problem, the transactions have been closed for almost two years. She stayed with us and counseled us, doing everything in her power to make things right. Kimberly is a great realtor. Kimberly is part of a team called Compass Real Estate Group and I could not be less of a fan of her team and by association, her. When it comes to a real estate broker, is there anything more important than trust? Would you trust your home sale or purchase to a company that violates the law? I wouldn't. Kimberly's team, Compass, violates the national do-not-call laws. I received a call this morning from one of her team trying to get me to list my property. I have no relationship with them and I have asked in the past for them to stop calling. To me a company that does this is not one that you can trust, so I would not trust Kimberly and her team and Compass. Even worse, the number her teamed used was "Spoofed" You know, when they dial out with a fake number so your spam blocking software on your phone doesn't detect it. How scammy is that? It's crazy right? Being part of the compass team, Kimberly shows poor judgement and I'd thus avoid at all costs. read more

We're very picky people. We have owned a few businesses and are pretty demanding, with high expectations; especially for those who are working with us professionally. How difficult it is to find someone who is professional, with an extensive knowledge base yet completely down to earth - well, that's Kim. We've gone through quite a few realtors over the years and have liked all but one. I'd have to say that although they were all great, the one I wish I could work with in multiple states would be Kim. My father in law stumbled upon her and after such a smooth and successful transaction with the sale Of their property - we decided to use her again for ours. This was over our realtor, that we used to purchase our home initially (whom we loved). We did this because it was such a breeze working with her, and she is so knowledgeable - real estate is def. her craft. I think what makes such a stressful situation truly bearable is when you have a trusting and great relationship with your realtor. We are incredibly hands on during real estate transactions but with Kim - we literally just let her steer and never second guessed any decision and/or advice. It was ... amazing. We had never done that before but she's remarkable at what she does, and we were 100% confident in her ability. As we are searching for a new home in a totally different state, we have passed over a handful of realtors, because they cannot live up to the expectations that we have developed from working with Kim.
