I have had cystic acne since the age of 12…read more My old dermatologist in San Antonio told me I had the biggest cysts they have ever seen within the 25 years of practice, just to give you an idea of what I was dealing with. Within the past few years, it has calmed down but the cysts are still huge, painful, and still too many of them to count. Prescription pills, creams, and any OTC either never worked for or lasted long. When I first talked to Kim, I was ordering a face wash that had helped keep my cysts a little under control. Kim had told me "I can help you get your skin clear and we can help with the scarring, too." I had heard that SO MANY TIMES already I didn't believe her. She asked me to come in for a consultation and I brought my products with me so she could see what my routine was. Kim's office is very welcoming and it is definitely a no judgment zone! She also understood all the pain (emotionally and physically) that I have been through. We came up with a plan to conquer my acne and set up my next appointment. She recommended products and told me what foods to stay away from. After the first treatment of extractions (which are painful, but worth it! Nowhere near as bad as having large cysts!) I noticed my skin felt smoother, the cysts didn't hurt as bad, and they were slowly going away. Since I started which was about August of last year, my skin has cleared up tremendously from doing extractions and chemical peels with her. I pretty much have complete, clear skin that looks great! I have a strict skincare routine I have to follow but it is completely and totally worth it. I have done micro needling as well and I love the results it gave me. I go in for treatments now every 3 months or so just to maintain my skin. On another note, I research my make up products like crazy to make sure I don't cause any flare ups in between visits. Kim is always happy and ready to review what you're using. She is also very responsive with e-mail if you ever have any questions or if you forget something she told you. My next appointment they were there but they were 'out of dysport' so used Botox and they told me it was Botox when I went to pay and it was twice as much, but Botox doesn't work on me for some reason that's why I asked for dysport.... I ended up having to go back for dysport. She didn't charge me for it, but also didn't do all the areas I'd previously paid for Botox on. (Botox is more than twice the price of dysport) Most recently I booked an appointment and was once again 5 minutes away in my Uber and got a text saying they forgot my appointment I had just made earlier the same day, and I'd need to come back tomorrow.. So once again, I wasted my time and money attempting to use this service provider. All in all my experiences with this business have been a huge waste of time and money. The process was extremely easy as they walked me through the clinic, explained to be in details about the procedure and also worked together on body contouring after taking 360degree pictures of my upper body. The ladies decided that my abdomen area would be the first area to treat with cool sculpting. They were going to use two applicators one one each side but then after some trials they noticed that they were able to use one big applicator on my abdomen that would treat the whole area of my abdomen and lower abdomen. Next step was taking measurement and making sure the applicator was placed where needed. Once the machine started it felt like that whole are was vacuumed, once you feel the cool air it starts the tickle feel. I was warned that after the 45 minutes procedure I would feel some tingling pain and numbness in the areas we treated. I felt no pain till we removed the applicator and that is very normal as the machine literally freezes the fat in that area. Lori and Jennifer were with me throughout this whole experience in the room and they massages the area after we were done. I was able to go on with my day. Best part is NO DOWN TIME!! I kept feeling a tingly and numbness feeling for the next two weeks. Now at week four I started noticing that the area where treated is starting to show some changes!!
