I went to Angel because she had great Yelp reviews. Yes she is very nice but no she is NOT a good waxer. She didn't show me how my face looked while/after waxing which was really bizarre but I thought maybe just with the masks it's different? She left a good chunk of hair on my upper lip, like it looked like she missed half. There was also a ton of hair left in my nose. It was super frustrating because I had to go back and didn't realize it right away while I was there because she didn't show me (which is normal practice in Chicago). I also had a Brazilian done. I felt like she didn't wait for the wax to get tacky and during the waxing process I was kind of like oh that's more sticky than it should be - but didn't say anything. Now I'm actually having hair grow back (and noticed some spots she missed) two days later. This has literally never been a problem before - and like I said I have been a consistent waxer for 2+ years at EWC. I am still a huge fan of EWC but just not the location or maybe just not Angel? I only gave 2 stars because Avery was nice enough to fix the lip/nose wax and did a great job.

She's nice enough, but unfortunately I've left my appointment in tears. She pretends like she waxes everything twice and then goes in with the tweezers to be through, but frankly, based on these results it's because she has absolutely no idea what she's doing. She asked if I wanted her to get anything she missed and I had her re-do one part that was awful, but frankly I didn't want to get waxed again for a third time. I should've noticed the red flag when she was the only waxer today and almost every appointment was still available when I looked last night. Incredibly upset and will be looking for a different company from now on.

I've "been with" Hannah for many years now, once you finally find somebody good it is hard to let go, let me tell you. Prior to stumbling upon her, I had been eh, sorta happy with the other Brazillian experiences around the area. I've driven all over from Canton to Ann Arbor to Bham and back. It's not that the others aren't good, it's just that Hannah is better. She is comfortable to be around, which helps when you're halfnaked. The other thing that sets her apart is her technique and the products she uses - both make all the difference in a painful or near painless experience. Trust me on that. You wouldn't think it, but Hannah's brazillians truly don't hurt. Sure, there is the ocassional zing of discomfort, quickly remedied by some applied pressure from her palm. Though she is a full service studio (with the exception of men's intimates), she specializes in brows & brazillians. Brows are another thing that I value quality with and am super finicky about. I mean, it's Right On Your Face. It kinda matters.. I trust her with arguably the most important parts of my body (heh), and she completely deserves that trust. So yeah, if you are reading this, you are reading it for a reason, maybe you're looking to get started or just switch salons.. Therefore, I don't think I have to sell you on the benefits of waxing (rarely any regrowth, smooth perfection for weeks, not a task to do it yourself.. shall I go on)- rather I hope to have inspired you to give Hannah and her cute new studio a try. She behaved as if she had never seen pubic hair before--something completely unacceptable in this profession. The wax was messy, poorly applied, and rushed--she didn't even let it set before trying to pull it off, leaving hairs behind. I'm still in pain and sore from the experience. Despite being very flexible (I've been waxing for over 25 years and am a yoga teacher), she kept making unnecessary comments about my positioning. At one point, my knee lightly touched her belly, and she actually accused me of kicking her, which was beyond bizarre and very concerning that she would just lie like that and with no shame. I don't understand how European Wax Center continues to employ someone with such a poor attitude and lack of skill. I highly recommend avoiding Neomi at all costs! She's a liability for EWC and will never be back there.

I have been a member of Naples Wax for years. I go to the Pine-ridge location. There was a car…read moreaccident yesterday that affected my arrival time to Naples Wax by 11 minutes. I was told by the front desk person that since there was there is a "9 minutes late policy" that I could only have 1 of my 2 booked services. No discussion, nothing.... just parroting "9 minute late policy". The wax person came and got me at 15 minutes past the hour. I had one service done. 1 service completed, re-dressed and out the front door 23 minutes total (including late and check-in) I did verify on the webpage now, that the time assigned each of those services is 30 minutes. According to their advertised services, their employee should have assigned me for 1 hour of time for these 2 services. 1 - 30 minute service; plus 1 - 30 minute service; equals 1 hour Me.... 23 minutes out the front door. *including late and check-in Where is my remaining 37 minutes and why couldn't they be used to perform my additional requested service? Where does the remaining time go normally ? Are multiple people are being billed for the same time? Is that legal to bill multiple people for the same time? Also, the front desk employee did not even look for a solution as I stood in the empty waiting room. They should be trained to look for solutions for the clients. They should also give the clients the time that they are paying for. Unfortunately, I will use the remaining services in my last package that are pre-paid and find a new facility
