I had the worst waxing experience at European Wax Center in Naples today. My esthetician, Neomi, was not only rude and unprofessional but also made me feel extremely uncomfortable during my Brazilian wax. She behaved as if she had never seen pubic hair before--something completely unacceptable in this profession. The wax was messy, poorly applied, and rushed--she didn't even let it set before trying to pull it off, leaving hairs behind. I'm still in pain and sore from the experience. Despite being very flexible (I've been waxing for over 25 years and am a yoga teacher), she kept making unnecessary comments about my positioning. At one point, my knee lightly touched her belly, and she actually accused me of kicking her, which was beyond bizarre and very concerning that she would just lie like that and with no shame. I don't understand how European Wax Center continues to employ someone with such a poor attitude and lack of skill. I highly recommend avoiding Neomi at all costs! She's a liability for EWC and will never be back there. read more

I think the service has just went downhill for a few reasons. They're rushing through appointments and not all of my hair has been getting removed so I'm left with broken hairs. Then those sometimes turn into ingrown hairs. They also stopped waxing the inner thigh and now bill that as a separate service, which is a joke. That's in the bikini area, so why should it be extra? Also, this is the second time on the day of my appointment I received an automated message from them cancelling on me (on a weekend). They only have 3 days during the week which were available to reschedule. There are barely have any evening appointments available in general. read more

There are constant staffing issues - calling same day to cancel an appt due to a specialist being sick & not accommodating me for a time suitable to my schedule, making clients wait 20+ minutes past Appt time to be seen, seeing a young girl crying hysterically bc the waxer was too rough & caused irritation in the waxing area. I've been going here for 9 years and the quality of service have declined significantly- it's a shame bc they are a central location in a city with not many other options. read more

Do NOT go here for an eyebrow wax. I have always preferred thicker brows and so I avoid getting my eyebrows done too often. I get them done once or twice a year and then maintain them myself to keep them fuller. I was due for a wax and have always had a great experience with other EW locations. This time, I was left with pencil thin brows that will take me months to regrow. I burst into tears when I got to my car. Not good customer service. I had an 11:45 underarm appt. I called at 11:48 and clicked the prompt for "if you're running late." Got a vm and left message I'd be there in 5 minutes. Arrived at 11:55 and was told since I was over the 9 minute grace, Crystal had taken her next appt. (which was scheduled at noon, so she took that 10 minutes early) The receptionist had not checked the vm. I said I'd wait, and receptionist said she'd ask but that Crystal had a 12:15 appt and then was going to lunch. I waited and at 12:10 her 12:15 showed up, and she took her in and told the receptionist she couldn't take me. Keep in mind it takes 6 minutes to do my underarms, and she was already ahead of schedule. Their 9 minute grace policy is fine, however, they didn't check the vm and I only needed 6 minutes. Clearly Crystal cared more about eating her lunch than keeping a tipping customer. read more

I love European Wax center! The naples location is great. You can always count on them to do a great job and make sure you end up bare! I recommend that you get the wax packages for whichever area(s) you're interested in clearing out. When you get the package, you pay for 9 services and get 3 free. It's a really great way to save some money while you reach your maintenance goals! The place is clean, they use hard wax and don't double dip, and they have a lot of products to help you maintain your wax after you leave. Exfoliating is key so that you don't get ingrown hairs! Also, if you've never been before, your first wax of any area is free so take advantage and try it out! read more

I don't have a right reviews for small businesses but today I had a terrible experience at European wax Center in Naples Florida. I have been a member of European wax since 2018 when I joined in Philadelphia and continued when I moved to Florida. This morning I had an appointment at 10:45. The traffic line to get into the shopping center was out on the Vanderbilt Beach Road. I was 11 minutes late which was one minute past the 10 minute time and there was no one in the facility's waiting room. The girl at the desk told me that I was a minute late and the policy says she can't take me. As I said, there was no one in there waiting. I explained to her that there's an event going on in the center and that you can't get in since they are located on the corner by the entrance. It's visible with all of the people walking and cars parked on the shoulder that there was a legitimate reason however, I was turned away, and I told her I would never be back so they lost a customer. I've been a member for five years and I told her I was going to write reviews because it's really bad business to be unaccommodating. Many times I have sat in that waiting room and had to wait for my turn. I guess that doesn't count I guess that 10 minutes only applies to the customer and not the technician . read more

I came in from out of town and had them transfer my account over. I appreciate that all are connected when we are away from home. The service was good, but not as friendly as other locations I've been to. We need a bit more effort from the girls up front. I wasn't super welcomed like I'm used to. The waxing technique was a little different. Friendly aesthetician, just different vibe. I felt kinda ehhh walking in and felt I had to make more the effort. It's alright, I just would like the initial face to make you feel comfortable and welcome by the front desk staff. I will return though. Maybe they were having an off day. Let me start off by saying this is not about all European wax centers just THIS ONE. I have been a customer of ewc for over 10 years and have had the unlimited eyebrow pass for almost just as long. I recently moved coming to this location, thinking that all wax specialist would be properly trained in waxing. Boy was I wrong! Apparently they just give anyone a uniform & let them wax. I have been to this location three times, I'm a person that gives the benefit of the doubt so I tried different specialist. My first visit wasn't bad but wasn't good either, I still had the shape of my previous wax from back home. The second time I got two eyebrows that look like they belong on two different faces. And the third time, this wax specialist left me with half an eyebrow!!!! All three times I showed them a photo & told them to only clean & not remove deeply. If you want to keep your eyebrows avoid this location. They need to seriously retrain the specialists here to know how to do eyebrows! When you mess up people's eyebrows it's very noticeable! For $22 a wax you shouldn't leave there looking like someone took a razor to your brows! I have 8 months left of unlimited waxes that I will not be using. read more

I loved this place at first but after two times getting used to one specialist and then suddenly getting calls that they were no longer Working there made me uneasy. Makes me question if there's something going on with management or corporate since they are apart of a chain. Such a high turnover in staff shouldn't happen in such a short amount of time. I also don't like the push they make towards selling their products. After previously already buying some product, my specialist still continued to push them on me. And not to mention their push to try to get you to invest in the wax pass. Every time I would go in it was a constant reminder. Best price I've been able to find for a bikini wax for what you get. Very clean and professional. They also have a points programs so you get discounts if you're a regular or a first-timer. Or you can buy a wax pass which is cheaper than paying each time individually. They also have locations all over the US you can use you wax pass at which is great. read more

I loved EWC until I came to this one. I have been going to EWC since they first started opening up branches. At this location my first appointment I waited for 20 minutes which I was ok with as they were really busy and I understand scheduling can be tough. However, the second time I went in I was late 11 minutes and had to deal with a really rude and unprofessional employee who made me feel like I committed a crime for being late and even though there were two technicians that were waiting for their next appointment they said they couldn't take me in. I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager regarding my interaction with the employee and honestly was very surprised. The manager seemed to have her mind made up about what happened prior to even talking to me and basically told me that she is supporting this incredibly rude and unprofessional employee. Needless to say I won't be going to this location ever again and am sad that they have totally ruined such a great experience I had with other locations. read more

This location does a terrible job. They were late to let me in for an appt. Let me stand outside for 15 minutes before telling me to come in and then, I had to leave bc I had someone else to be. They didn't even offer to fix it. I made a new appt and when I arrived I was a couple mins late. They came out to tell me I was too late for my appt. So its ok for them to be late but not me? I'm so happy to have discovered the European Wax Center. I've always been nervous of getting waxed. Especially because I didn't want to get undressed in front of a stranger. From the very first wax until today, I have had NO reason to feel uncomfortable or insecure. Terry is phenomenal-- such a sweet, sweet girl, and she really cares about her profession. I've been waxed before, but I've never had such great results like I have from the EWC. Compared to other places I have been waxed at, the environment at the EWC is extremely clean (very important to me), everyone is professional and SO nice. I have been using the location off Vanderbilt since opened . I love the girls but the center is so dirty not sure if I will go back . The vents are covered in mold and Filth . I feel bad for the employees and notice not much traffic . I blame management or lack of management. They do a terrific job with waxing. My only annoyance is that the staff turnover is very high. Twice I have gotten used to a specific wax specialist and both times they have left abruptly. I think that is a reflection of poor management, not he staff doing the waxing. I don't like using a different waxing specialist every time I go. If management doesn't get this corrected, I may find someplace else that is more consistent. read more

Be prepared to wait... I waited in the lobby for 15mins PASSED my appointment. This is not a quick "in and out" type of place. You are on their time and they could care less about yours. Even though WE the customers are paying a PREMIUM for wax service. This place is extremely over priced and just found out another price increase will happen in January. Beware of the package sales, everyone in the building will shove them down your throat and try to sell you on anything they can. I will say the couple of time I've been there, the actual wax techs are great and friendly. This was my first time going to this specific location, and I have nothing bad to say about it. My appointment was at 10am and I arrived a little early around 9:45am so I did have to wait about 5 minutes, which was fine with me. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and warm. The actual waxing room was very clean and professional. My waxer's name was Angel (she was awesome!!). I explained to her that I don't live in the area so I most likely will not be returning, but she still was nice enough to give me some recommendations of products as well as personal aftercare without forcing me to purchase anything (I hate feeling pressured to buy things). She completed my Brazilian fairly quick, in about 15 minutes. She made me feel very comfortable, and if for some reason I am ever in the area again, I would definitely go back to her. read more

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making sure to answer any questions and explain everything needed as a first time client. The first visit was free - amazing! Everything was very clean (very important) and Jenna was attentive, listening to my concerns/comments about my brows. She was sure to get my feedback before I left, specifically letting me know she could go thinner after I took a look at them.
