The immigrant owners are rude and racist, they don't do good nails unless they feel like it, they overcharge people for services and if it isn't done right to your standard or quality they will NOT work out anything in your favor. I use to come here all the time, until One of the lesbian owners decided to lie to the BBB saying that I wanted free money because one of their technicians cut my toe while doing a pedicure. They've also had several incidents where they were disrespectful to customers and shouting at them to "get the fck out" or they will use the excuse "we didn't see anything" they don't need to be in service or business because they don't have any customer service skills. read more

This place was horrible. This was the first place we went to coming from Europe and the manager was rude. She stated that they do not do the type gel they do in Europe so she could not provide service. I let them know when I came in that I just wanted gel not European gel. Anyways for an initial impression I am not impressed, very poor customer service skills and they forgot to do my daughters nails. Well, the gal doing my pedicure has long fake nails and she can hardly use the utensils. Then she calls For another girl "Sara" who stunk like smoke it was disgusting. Their AC is out and they are smoking at the open back door so the smoke is coming in. Honestly I don't know why I went here. I saw the reviews and chose to take a chance. The lady who did my mani/pedi was nice enough, but she didn't push back or clean my cuticles enough and my toes are crooked and THREE days later my entire gel nails peeled off in one piece and I had to get them redone another place. My toenails started rubbing off (which I didn't know was possible so soon) around the same time too. The place also didn't feel very clean and they require masks but not all the staff was wearing them. Went in for a fill a guy did my nails his nails were long and they were pretty. They are all about the money there! One of the owners was busy with clients and the walk ins and couldn't keep track of what staff members turn it was. Not personable at all. VERY quick NOT DETAILED at all and VERY HIGH PRICED for a fill I paid $54 for a fill I usually pay $36 I couldn't get into my regular salon. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Let me preface by saying, I have gone to many nail salons where the nail techs weren't great or my nails didn't look the way I wanted, but that has never been that big of a deal to me. HOWEVER, I have never been to a nail salon where the nail techs were so incredibly rude to me that I walked out with tears. My friend and I went to go get our nails done and our nail techs sat together ignoring us when we spoke, gave mean looks, and made short remarks. On top of the terrible service, both of us were refused anything other than a solid color. I ended up walking out with plain white nails because that was the only thing they would allow. I had been told that everything I wanted was "not possible," despite the fact that every other nail place was able to without hesitation. The two girls didn't even do a good job applying the color. They used a regular polish top coat on top of my friend's dip powder because she didn't feel like using the UV light. She was told to "pay then wait underneath the hand dryer and leave when it's dry." If you are in Manhattan looking for somewhere to get your nails done, do not go here! Try The Nail Shoppe or Infinity nails where at least you will be treated nicely. read more

This place is always so chaotic and the employees are always on edge and stressed out on the behalf of the owners scheduling style. The employees are unprofessional, on their phones, talking about topics to their fellow employees that made me uncomfortable, cussing, and so on. The nail work itself looks great for a day and then begin to peel and break. The color also never matched the sample. I wanted the hailey Bieber nail one time and it came out as a borderline hot pink. It also seems to be a different price every time I'd go in. I've been in I'd say around 6 or 8 times before I decided to go somewhere else and I'd get the same service and the price would range from $50-$75 depending on who I was with that day. With all of that I'd always feel like a burden and an inconvenience to them because I was making them do their job. I do not recommend this place, I've enjoyed Element Nail way more and I've only been there one time! read more

Really good price and amazing interior, however it took two hours just to do this. The nail tech made several cuts to my cuticles , my nails are already chipping after leaving. Her nail tech was very rude to her, and did not do the manicure in the right order. My nail tech was nice, however my pedicure was severely rushed. It took a total of 15-20 minutes, and a good pedicure usually takes at least 30. While sitting at the drying station, both my friend and I commented on how poorly these were executed. I was there for 1 1/2 hours just for dip. And it was done poorly compared to what I was use to. I had multiple giant dried drips on my nails which I couldn't fix at home and I did not want to stay any longer to have her fix it. Selected an upgraded pedicure and the lady rushed through it. I'm not sure why I even paid for something upgraded at this point when this was worse than the regular pedicure I usually get. Was supposed to be a 45 minute pedicure and was 30 minutes from start to finish - which means she rushed through the scrub and massage. Super disappointed. read more

Definitely feel welcomed when you first enter, was put in a chair within a few minutes! My pedicure turned out just as i thought it would! they were able to shape it the way i wanted. She really took her time when rubbing the lotion in, great experience. Really do recommend coming here! read more

so I came in a couple days ago to get my nails done for a concert I'm going to and the lady I had was completely rude she had her headphones in listening to music and texting people on her phone. The nails weren't even that great either..... she did my cuticles very last! And it looks like I already need a fill because I can see so much of my real nail right where my cuticle was:/ then I went in the next day to get them fixed because of the cuticles and I could still see my real nail on the sides a lot it was absolutely bad. She proceeded to act like they were just fine and only fixed a couple nails. I also noticed how she didn't have clean tools and it was nasty. Just make sure they clean their tools because you can get a nail infection if they don't. Overall this experience wasn't good and I thought it would be all my friends go here and told me it would be a great place I just think I got the wrong person for the job. read more

But it has been 2 occasions where i have made an appointment prior to going for a mani and pedi and walked in and waited almost an hour to get my feet done. And walked out without my nails done. Super great experience. I got off work at 6:50 pm. and walked in at 6 (they close at 7). There did not turn me away, but instead took great care of my nails. (I got tips and dip) My manicurist stopped every step of the way to make sure I like and was happy with what she was doing. Best place in Manhattan in my opinion. Cheap prices. Quality work.
