I just had my two car garage painted by Mitch from Luxury Painting and I am more than thrilled with the job done! The house was built in 2006 and the garage walls haven't been touched since the builders sloppy paint and tape job. There was a crack in the ceiling that Mitch and his help fixed also. All of that over-plastered mess that the builder left is completely fixed and boy do the walls and ceiling look great! The walls and ceiling are perfectly smooth. Far exceeds my expectations! Very happy with the work we had done from Mitch and his guys on our house. They did a full paint, installed crown molding in a few rooms, and glass tile back splash in the kitchen. Very professional and easy and fast communication. A little more expensive than a few other bids I received, but worth it for the quality and attention to detail. Only recommendation is to maybe cut glass tile in a basement/garage, as we did find small shards of glass in our kitchen after the clean up. My husband and I have recently purchased a new home in Palatine. The house was beautiful, but some of the paint choices the previous owner made were awful! And it was done very sloppy. Mitch met with me at the house to go over color ideas, which was great! I don't know the first thing about paint. Also, some of the area's he needed to paint over were 20+ ft high walls. Once the paints were picked out, he got to work the next day. I was not there, due to packing up our old place so he would send texts and videos about his progress. I really appreciated that! The master bedroom was super ugly. 3 walls were some off color, then they had a poop brown accent wall. I was hoping to lighten up the room so I know this wasn't a one coat job. He came in the next day just to make sure all was perfect. The house had a whole new vibe when Mitch was finished. The whole house was so much brighter. Mitch keeping me updated on everything was great too. What a great painting company to work with. Mitch the owner handles everything. His employees work diligently as he does. They know how to work at a good pace so as to do a great job once completed with any painting project. Just to be honest Mitch and his employees are human as we all are. They did miss a few spots as they are human like he explained to me. After I paid Mitch his final payment on my project he told me to look over his work for a week or so and call him to let him know if they missed any small spots. I found a few spots where lighting was an issue because of a rainy day. Mitch came back with no arguing or any conflict that he does not have the time. Mitch came back touched up the missed spots and finished my project without asking for any additional money. My project entailed painting 4-FOUR 2nd floor bedrooms and 2-Two 2nd floor bathrooms plus 6-six closets on my 2 story home including all the ceilings. They take their time and they do an excellent job. Mitch is extremely easy to work with and very, very flexible and he is cognitive of the customers schedule. He and his company are very customer service orientated. Luxury Painting did such a great job on painting the 2nd floor of my home because my home is a 2 story I had to stagger out the project meaning the 2nd floor first and I will bid out the 1st floor this spring in 2018. I have told Luxury painting that they have my business this spring to paint the first floor of my home. I want to give Mitch my business since he is also very reasonable with his pricing. He beat all other bidders when I awarded Mitch my painting project in my home. His bid was just a bit lower that the rest of the bidders but his Yelp reviews stood out among his competitive bidders that I interviewed. Do not hesitate calling Luxury Painting they a very reasonable and they are excellent painters. Mitch even did a few small extras for me after I offered him to pay for the extras because they were not on the original bid. Luxury Painting is fantastic. Hired Mitch to paint my house with 1 request....I needed the entire house (walls, closets, ceilings) done within 2 weeks. Mitch brought in a crew of 5 guys and knocked out the entire house in 9 days! His work was quality, his guys professional and his communication with timely. Everything about the process with wonderful. We chose a high quality paint and with some collaboration with Mitch, the house looks wonderful. Afterwards, decided I needed my garage painted and although Mitch had prior engagements, one of his guys stepped in and offered to knock it out for me. This was really a great experience. Working with Luxury Painting has been a wonderful experience. Mitch, the owner, is a consummate professional. He's always timely, extremely tidy, and well organized. We have been working with Luxury Painting since 2013, and have hired them to work on several very different projects including a Chicago 2-flat owned by our family and two very different houses on the North Shore. One house is an ornate 1874 Victorian that's on the local register of historic homes. The other one is a mid-century modern house, built in 1958. You could not ask for two more dissimilar properties, nevertheless, Luxury Painting did an outstanding job on both. The Victorian required extensive repair to the horsehair plaster walls. The team did a great job with that and you couldn't even tell where the repairs began and the original walls left off. They also did an outstanding job with all the ornate interior trim work. The mid century house had been badly neglected and needed serious patching and clean up. Again, the company did a fabulous job. I have recommended Luxury pPainting to many, many friends and family members. I will continue to do so. They are an outstanding group to do business with, and I highly recommend them! read more

I needed some wok done and Mitch gave a quote with pictures I sent him. He came right away and did a great job.

Mitch came and gave us an estimate to refinish our kitchen cabinets. He gave us a reasonable price and said it would take two days. It ended up taking almost two weeks. They removed the cabinet doors and couldn't even put them back together correctly, even lost some of the screws and hinges. The cabinets looked great at first but within a month, we noticed cracking. Also, we discovered that the painter didn't even bother to move the refrigerator and just got paint on it. We contacted Mitch several times about the problem, always giving him the benefit of the doubt that he would get in touch with us and correct the problem. ONLY after several more texts from him, did he respond, saying that the cracks are due to the temperature change. Wouldn't a competent painter know that and advise his clients that ahead of time and not go ahead and paint the cabinets in the garage when it was extremely cold outside? Well, apparently his clients are not important because he has not corrected this problem and continues to make any excuse up to not have time to come back and fix this poor paint job. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. It has been nothing but a headache and waiting game. Find someone else who will do the job correctly the first time because these people won't come back and fix THEIR defective paint job. read more

I hired Mitch for interior painting and for staining our staircase. Mitch did a fantastic job with everything. He was very efficient and extremely attentive to the finer details. The staining job was very challenging. He had to completely sand the natural red oak stain before applying a darker stain which wasn't easy. He was very patient and the results came out very well. Mitch was outstanding for all of our interior paint and wall repair work! We wanted to have a wall/pantry knocked out and refinished in addition to the painting. He cleanly removed the entire wall/pantry section, relocated the thermostat and refinished the drywall and trim to the point that no one but us will ever know it wasn't built that way from the start! I recently had my kitchen, family room, and one bedroom painted by Luxury Painting. They were very fast at responding to my request for an estimate. Mitch came to my home for the estimate and was very courteous and professional. I decided to give them a shot and I am very happy I did! I was amazed and excited to see the transformation of all three rooms. They kept the work areas clean and made sure we were happy with the results. Prior to getting the estimates, I had purchased a few different colors with a satin finish. Well, the paint that Mitch asked me if I was okay with had a similar finish but not exactly the same. So unfortunately the sample areas I painted to choose a color showed up shinier than he rest of the wall. Mitch kept his word and came back to fix the issue. Now everything looks great! Thanks guys!
