We've had our pool since 2016 and have been pleased with Luxury Pools & Living as a builder and with their support to maintain the pool and equipment. The tech that opened for us this year did a fantastic job! He obviously cares about the customer and the quality of his work. The care he showed to making sure our equipment was in top shape was second to none. He also exhibited great communication skills in explaining some needed repairs (due to age and weather exposure) during our opening. Just wanted to pass this along. read more

After multiple issues over the last couple of years, I would not recommend this company. One of the earliest concerns involved the pool cover system. Prior to installation, I was told the cover end would be able to handle people standing or walking on it. After installation, I was then informed that it would not safely support that weight and that additional brackets would need to be installed at my expense in order to safely handle people on the cover. I ultimately paid the additional cost despite this differing from what had originally been represented. More recently, I had an ongoing issue with a leaking pool pump that I first reached out about in September. Over the following months, I had difficulty getting consistent responses or clear direction regarding the problem despite multiple emails and providing a water sample for review. It was not until March that the issue was meaningfully addressed. When the repair was finally scheduled, I received written communication stating that the repair would be covered under warranty at no additional cost. The repair was completed based on that understanding. Afterward, I was invoiced and informed that the damage was attributed to water chemistry and therefore not covered under warranty. I understand that pool chemistry is important and may have contributed to the issue. However, my frustration is not simply about being charged. The company apparently already believed the chemistry was responsible before the repair was performed, yet still communicated that the repair would be covered under warranty. Had I been informed beforehand that warranty coverage was being denied, I would have appreciated the opportunity to discuss options, decide whether to repair versus replace the pump, obtain another estimate, or seek another opinion before proceeding. To make matters more frustrating, the pump ultimately failed shortly afterward and required replacement anyway. Had I been informed upfront that the repair was considered non-warranty and that I would be financially responsible, I may have chosen to replace the pump at that time rather than proceed with a repair first. I also found the subsequent phone conversation regarding the issue unnecessarily argumentative and unprofessional rather than focused on resolving the concern constructively. Overall, the recurring theme throughout my experience has been inconsistent communication, changing explanations after the fact, delayed responses, and additional unexpected costs. Because of these experiences, I would not recommend this company to friends or family. read more

We had our pool installed by Luxury Pools and Living in 2013 and it's still great today in 2025. We've had to replace the pump and pool heater once and we'll likely need to replace the cover after this season, but I think that's likely standard for any pool over 12 years. Their service has always been excellent for us whenever needed, so I don't understand the negative reviews and sorry those peoples experience has been different. We also use them for their weekly clean and balance pool service and they've always been excellent! read more

I had a pool installed with Luxury Pools and the job was very unprofessional. Mathew, the owner, is hot-headed and always right. The pool was never set properly and to this day is not level. The pump was sized incorrectly, the equipment pad settled in time and was unlevel, the electrician never came back to install the grounding rod, the automated pool cover was installed way late and only because I kept calling asking its status and I was given a used telescoping cleaning pole. People, do your homework first..this company is no different than many other pool company's. Mathew is nothing more than a salesman, he's not a pool installer. His workmanship is non-existent, he doesn't return phone calls and everything will always be your fault. Stay away from Luxury Pools!! read more

DO NOT USE LUXURY POOLS!!! Had a pool installed October 2015 and concrete surround is literally crumbling apart. See Attached pictures. Also the owner of this franchise Matthew Ray is completely unprofessional. His employees damaged our neighbors driveway and refused to fix it until a lawyer was retained by my neighbor and legal action was threatened. One of his subcontractors, an electrician, wired something incorrectly and blew out our oven/microwave combo unit. Another contractor who was delivering the initial water to fill up the pool wrecked into my wife's Honda pilot and cost about $3000 in damage. If you hire this company to install a pool for you expect a substandard job and be treated like complete garbage. Too bad I cannot give negative stars. read more

I have had my pool for almost 4 years. The sales and design process were fantastic, then everything went downhill. Communication was poor throughout the install, unless they needed money, then it was prompt and superfluous. The install itself was a mess. The crew does zero clean up. We are still trying to get concrete off the house and windows from where it splashed. The pool itself is scratched in several places and there are hammer marks from the automatic cover install. We also spent a lot of time cleaning up messy silicone around the skimmer and the concrete had several cracks after the first year. Every time we have reached out with an issue, it has been assumed that we did something wrong or didn't understand. The first summer we were losing a lot of water. We were told it was due to evaporation. After several back and forth communications, we finally convinced Matthew that someone needed to assess in person. It was found that, in fact, there was a leak in the skimmer. This was repaired several months after we first reported the issue and we paid a hefty water bill as a result of continuously putting water in the pool. After the first season, we experienced more leakage, which was a result of cracking inside the skimmer. When I reported the issue, it was assumed we did not winterize the pool properly causing the skimmer to crack. Again, no one came to look at the issue in person, just assumed it was an error on our part. A tech was sent out to perform the repair. The tech told us the winterization looked appropriate. We were not charged for the repair. The next season, we experienced even more cracking on the skimmer, causing leakage. When I reported the issue again, it was assumed we did not properly winterize the pool. No one came to investigate in person. I am now paying for this repair. The issue is not improper winterization, rather, the pool is unlevel. When the temperature heads up in the summer, the skimmer swells and cracks. The company would see this for themselves if they would actually show up in person to assess. Overall, communication is terrible and if you report an issue be prepared for a fight. Matthew is always right and will always assume you are in the wrong and that you have no idea what you are talking about. He is very combative which is evident in his response to other negative reviews. He will also say you are angry and backhanded (his words) when you are simply reporting issues and asking for a solution. I went with Luxury because I wanted a fiberglass pool. If I ever go through this process again, I will not use Luxury even if that means installing a different type of pool. Also - just an aside, a few years ago, they offered incentives for good reviews. Take everything you read with a grain of salt. read more

Going into season three with my pool, still happy with everything. Just a few weeks ago upon opening it for the season (which I did myself) I notice a significant leak in the junction into my heat pump (heats the water). Reached out via email to check if this was under warranty or what I should do. They said they would simply send someone over next time they had a guy in the area. It was fixed wi 48hrs, no hassle. Also ran a chem deal this year and communication via email has always been useful and timely. Sorry to see some poor reviews, but it just hasn't been my experience at all. Really happy with my pool! It has been installed for just shy of a year and overall I am happy w the design process, pool install, and overall product. Luxury pools replaced the equipment pad for the pump components. The dirt under the original equipment pad was washing away and therefore causing the piping to be weighed down by the pump and components. They did great work once I Was able to get them to come over. read more

This company is listed at the BBB under Custom Classic Renovations, Ltd. I highly recommend you review/read the complaints and their responses online prior to ever contracting with them. This was the worst customer experience of my entire life and I am still dealing with the fallout 18 months later. They have the worst communication and will just flat out stop dealing with you, returning your calls or emails, if they don't want to fix the problems they created. Do not use this company! My pool is not level, my patio drains towards my house and they scratched the pool so badly during construction that it's unbelievable! read more

If you're thinking of getting a pool. This company is great. We've had great experiences with them both before, during and after the sale! We had our pool installed about 5 years ago. We debated whether or not it was worth the expense but ultimately decided to bite the bullet and move forward. It was one of the best decisions we've made. We have gotten years of use out of it already and we love it. We dealt mainly with the owner for the quoting process and install. Install was a breeze for the pool itself. We also did a very large patio area that they subcontracted. The patio turned out very nice but took longer than expected. The pool itself has been FLAWLESS. It is very easy to maintain, and we have had no issues with it during our 5-year period. If you do your research, it's easy to miss all the "extras" that companies charge. Leisure doesn't do that. They have very up-front pricing and no surprises. They also use very high-quality products that are better than what you will likely get elsewhere. I can state this with confidence because we have several friends with pools purchased from other companies and they are consistently having issues with one thing or another - particularly pool covers and pumps. We simply don't. I attribute that to high quality products and a great install. If you purchase your pool from Leisure, they also have great online resources for balancing your pool chemicals that has your pool model plugged in so it's really easy to use. You plug in an identifier and it prepopulates with your make/model. Very quick and easy - we use it nearly every week. There's also lots of self-service videos if you can't remember how to do something. Great company, a great owner, and all-around good people! read more

We have had our pool for about a year and a half. When we first inquired with Luxury pools, communication with Paul was questionable at best. We decided to give them another try and this time Paul was very good at taking our calls/questions and getting back to us. We had some issues with the City zoning board that Paul and the owner Matthew helped us with by adjusting our plans and providing documents/calls that got the board to approve the project. So while we were not happy with their approach initially, in the end we were very pleased and think they went above and beyond. The installation was ridiculously fast! We did have the GFCI outlet blow last year and they came out and fixed it immediately which was much appreciated. We did have a few complaints about the installation process - the crew left A LOT of gravel in the yard. When they poured the concrete surrounding the pool, a small amount splashed up onto our siding and window. Sidewalk repair was done as expected but for some reason they decided to replace the blocks before the backhoe was out of our yard, which left a broken sidewalk. Luxury Pools did provide video instructions on cleaning and maintaining the pool. The videos are detailed enough and explain things so that you are able to do what you need to do by watching the videos. It is also a nice resource to have to look back at since you can easily forget things from one year to the next. Julie and Shannon were very helpful with questions or getting us to the individuals that we needed. Matthew was also very involved from setup to finish and after. We appreciated his time and involvement. So although we had a few complaints, overall we have been very happy with the project. It looks great, was done quickly and as planned. I would recommend Luxury Pools to anyone looking for a nice inground fiberglass pool. read more
