I had several issues that were one after another. None of the ongoing issues were due to anything AAA did or didn't do. My hot tub is a few years older and has been moved to my current home which contributed to the issues I had along with normal wear and tear and the prior company not fixing the original problem correctly. My ongoing issues came within hours to days after the prior repairs but AAA Spa and Pool Service were always professional and responsive to me and getting my hot tub taken care of before the cold weather hit which can make fixing a hot tub outside the home difficult or almost impossible till warmer weather. Neither big box retailer could tell me much about their tubs except for price and obvious things such as 1yr warranty but they didn't know how that worked or the fine print details, or anything about their service after install etc. Notable was that they did disclose that they "neatly leave the packaging / trash for the consumer to discard"- What?! Then remembered The Place in Medina, Ohio. So glad I went this route. Rex Brown was very knowledgeable, he answered All of my questions and concerns (that no one else could and other info. that I couldn't get online). The Place has a large inventory of Hot tubs. Like most stores, big box or small retailers they have a limited amount of Plug n Play units but more than most that I went to, and they carry the BEST plug n play model on the market: The Dream Maker and at an affordable price too. The difference with The Place and Big box stores, is that The Place knows their products and stand behind them! It is a family-owned company-(buy local). They have a repair shop on sight, their own repair guys/employees (unlike big box- once you get it home - after warranty-it's on you to get it fixed). The Place also carries any accessories, like filters and chemicals that you may need for your hot tub. The transaction was GREAT from start to finish, (no gimmicks, no delays, no bait and switch). The delivery and set up was quick and very professional; they left no trace of packaging material aside from my beautiful hot tub you would never know they were there! I couldn't be happier- I highly recommend Rex Brown and The Place in Medina Oh.

Our experience was terrible. We had a non working hot tub and the techs came out 3 different times…read moreand were still not able to fix it. We lost $1,900 and didn't have a working hot tub. We ended up using Ohio Spa repaid and it was fixed right away. We had a service tech, text me, complaining about me and when I responded, he said it was meant to go to the owner. The owner did not seem to care at all about our frustration. We were not aware of being charged more each time, until we got our credit card (just kind of assumed they would come out and fix their mistake). I will continue to share this story with anyone who will listen, as it was very stressful (the person who referred Rainbow Hot Tubs is no longer using them either after this experience). I shared on social media and it sounds like a number of people were not satisfied with their service either.

Honestly, it's the best customer service experience I've had in any retail establishment in Columbus in ages. They helped me get up and running with a new Frog2 system. OH BOY do not work with this man or company !…read more Our family hired him to renovate our pool interior and deck. Within a year and a half mold started showing up behind the beautiful glass tiles. By the next year they were falling off into the pool. Once we started asking around about him this year, turns out there are now lawsuits pending against him across Columbus. Why are we talking to other contractors? Because it turns out the entire pool deck needs to be pulled up because it wasn't laid down properly, there are areas not adhered to the concrete base. Untrustworthy and subbed out the majority of work and was rarely there to oversee things. Wonder if he regrets that now? Avoid at all costs !

Terrible customer service and communication. I had a repair…read morescheduled for the afternoon and was told I would receive a call the morning of to narrow down the time. At 11:30 I called to check and was told that I would receive a call by noon with an update. I never received a call and only reached their voice mail for the remainder of the day. At 10:30 the following day I received a call from the office stating that she had an emergency and had to leave at noon the previous day but that the technician was supposed to have called me. She insured me that I would receive a call from her no later than 1:30 that afternoon with a time or she would give me the technicians number so I could stay in contact with him. She never called me back and I am still sitting here with a broken hot tube.
