I do not recommend this place! I was in town and went to get pedicures with my dad. He has been here before so this is where we went per his request. Years ago, when I still lived in Ohio, this was the spot everyone used to go to so I thought why not! I left with chunks of my foot missing after my visit on August 3, 2020! The manicurist didn't even say sorry let alone acknowledge what she did. It hurt to walk for weeks and it is still not fully healed because it is so deep. I didn't notice how bad it was until I got home or I would have said something and not let them do my nails. The manicurist took way too long to do my nails and toes. I had to ask her to start soaking the dip powder off my nails while she was doing my feet. This should always be done to remain efficient! I opted for gel on my nails which started peeling within a week. I will never return here and would not recommend this salon. They are following COVID guidelines. Everyone was wearing a mask. There is plexiglass between you and the manicurist while getting pedis and only 1 manicurist per row so you are not sitting next to anyone while getting your nails done. read more

I had a wonderful experience here today at LV nails!! Steven was my nail tech he was very patient and very helpful. I am not huge on conversation while I'm getting my nails done and I appreciated that he got the hint in my body language. He did make me laugh a few times and was very friendly! He managed to put on my acrylics and file them down PERFECTLY!! I honestly couldn't be happier with them! The salon itself is nice as well! Very spacious with big windows. Also I bumped my thumb nail after the dryer and Steven happily fixed it without any attitude!! Will defiantly be coming back next time I need a fill!! read more

I've been to this place 3 times now. Every time I've asked for shellac. The first time it was 21.50. The second time it was 27.50, but I didn't take off the shellac from last time. I thought that was the reason it was more expensive, so I was fine with that. This last time it was 32.00. I went with my friend who every time for her was 21.50. When I ask why mine was more expensive, she said it's because you got a manicure which she did the same thing as the last time I was there. My friend was asked if she wanted a manicure which she said no, but I was never asked. Also, the lady who did my nails was distracted the whole time talking to other people. She started filing my finger not my nail. All my nails are different lengths, and the tips are rigid not smooth at all. I will not being going there a fourth time. read more

Worst salon I've ever been to. After being told they could have my shellac polish changed within my 1 hour lunch break they sat me in a chair to wait 45 mins. While she had foil on my nails she started about 5 other customers. When she returned she was on the phone filing away my nails to stubs that were uneven. Furious I said I would pay for the removal and would not be continuing the service. She said ok and told me it was $10. After taking a twenty out of my wallet she said she forgot that it was actually $12. Never go here!! read more

These people are totally unprofessional and liars. So I come in on a Friday to get my student discount because that's what it says clearly on the menu they say it's only on Mondays and Tuesdays but it gives no date on the menu. Then he says oh it's only for high school students but it just says student on the menu. Really the discount is only 3 dollars you want to be that cut throat over 3 dollars I've never seen something like that n my life. Do not ever cum here it is a total rip off they put a hot towel on ur feet and call it a spa pedicure this place is beyond horrible! It's over priced for no reason. HORRIBLE. I was once a loyal customer to this shop for many years. I go at least every two weeks if not once a month to get my nails done. The last few times my shellac would start chipping within a week but I didn't make a big deal about it. Recently I went for a shellac manicure within three days my nail polish started turning brown! (I work in an office so I don't do anything to get them dirty like that) by day 5 they were chipping again. I went in to get them fixed, thinking it wouldn't be a big deal since I was a loyal customer. The owner started accusing me saying I dyed my hair and messed up my own nails (I HAD NEVER DYED MY HAIR). She finally, with the biggest attitude said "maybe we will fix them this one time!" This place has gone down hill over the years. I was a customer for 15+ years. No more. They used old shellac that bubbles, when I questioned her, she said I see no bubble. I wish I could post a photo to show, it looked like a 5 yr old did my nails. SMH Won't be back. read more

I KNOW IT'S LONG BUT PLEASE READ IT! LOL...I feel like in order to give an accurate review on a place you have to go there more than once I see so many reviews where people have went somewhere one time and I say the place is amazing or it sucks well for this particular place I've been here 3x and they are kind of hit or miss it depends on who you get all three times a male my nails but not the same man and all three times I wasn't satisfied with the work I had to repeatedly asked the last man to paint my nails over because they were streaky and it looked like I let my 4-year do it at home he had polish on my skin and I had to tell him to clean it off otherwise he would have left it there I'm not a picky person but I feel if I pay for a service it should be done correctly and the last man was really rude he was talking to the other workers there the entire time and he kept stopping on my nails to turn around to hold a conversation with them but as soon as I would turn around to talk to my friend he would tap the table and say hey sweetie turn around? But on the upside of this review the place is really clean and some of the people are friendly and they give the best pedicures I've ever had and the wait times are not very long either read more

Never ever ever will I go to LV nails at chapel hill mall !!!! First they tell us we would not have to wait then it took 30+minutes to even get a chair , after that the water was ice cold and the pedicure chair was junky and broke ! After sitting with freezing water below the man came over and touched a few things then walked out side ( where I could still see him) and started smoking ! He came back in and said he was outside throwing up ! After that he splashed some water around getting my jeans wet and painted my nails some nasty purple when I wanted glitter pink ...... After that he charged me $40 when the girl next to me paid $30 ! It only gets better the pedicure chair thing was broke and since they told me to put my purse on the floor next to me it got everything in my purse wet and my purse was drenched ! I talked to the manager and he did nothing and told me he would call me ! He still hadn't and picked the wrong customer to mess with ! read more

I went in on a Friday, had a shellac polish change. The man that helped me didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for no manicure... He used the rounded tool to take off the shellac that was already on my nails. He put some polish remover on a cotton ball and let my nails soak for like 3 minutes and then scraped a little bit of my nail polish off and resorted to the rounded tool to remove the rest of my shellac polish. He did two coats of a polish which is usually enough but I clearly needed another layer because it was transparent (you could see the white part of my nail through the polish). I went in with strong, healthy nails and left with weak, flimsy nails. By MONDAY my nails were chipping, along with the polish wearing off in the corners. I called as soon as I noticed how horrible they look and the guy on the phone said I could get my money back with no problem.. Unfortunately I go in and they tell me the opposite. There was a lady that claimed they didn't do refunds and said that they could paint another layer of polish on my nails. I visibly showed the workers my nails and they still wouldn't give me my money back. DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL "SALON" IT IS DIRTY, UNRELIABLE, AND DATED. read more
