They don't deserve a rating of 1. Spent $128 for a pedicure and manicure. Didn't push my cuticles back so when put gel polish on it made them all different spacing for my polish. Some gel was missing on edges, my big toe had see through and the polish and nail came off within a week. Also, only did scaping on my heals and not the bottoms of my feet. Marble floors and an actual front desk receptionist! The chairs are comfortable and everything just looks upscale! Prices aren't bad at all either. They are very compatible!!! They serve wine and drinks! The services include your traditional pedicure for $17! Or you can get the botanical herbal spa treatment for $55!!! They do great work and are very polite! In that time I have also received manis and pedis from around the world (San Francisco, CA & Prague, Cezch Republic to show the extremes) from other highly acclaimed salons and continue to leave thinking "LV in Slidell" is still the best place to go to get my nails done. Even when I go to New Orleans or Baton Rouge out of convenience I always leave with LV in mind. Here are few things I really appreciate about LV: -The salon is extremely clean! Every nook and cranny is spotless. -The staff is really friendly, but not overbearing. -ALL of the staff members are really attentive. If one sees a customer waiting just a bit too long (which for LV is about 3-5 min.), a staff member quickly assists the customer. -The procedures that the management has put in place to ensure the salon runs smoothly and efficiently are so organized that customers rarely wait for directions or a next step in the service. With that said, I never feel that service is rushed by staff. -The salon provides a wide range of pedicures from quick and simple (~$20) to long and extravagant (~$55). I really appreciate this diverse set of options, because sometimes I want a quick pedicure and other days I want to go all out! All in all, this is a wonderful and affordable salon that provides a variety of services. I really like the way this spa look. It is very nice inside. I got the shellac nails and a pedicure. They offer red or white wine, coke, or water while you are being seviced which really add to the appeal of this spa. They offer several services such as manicures with paraffin wax and scented scrubs, pedicures with hot rock massage/paraffin wax/hot towel massage, facials, permanent make up, waxing, and hair care. Of course the more you get the higher the cost, but it is nice to have options for the times you want to splurge. Customer service was excellent. Overall a great experience. Sorry to have to write a bad review but LV really messed up my nails. I met my daughter at the salon. I arrived first. Victor was there on the phone. He saw that I was waiting for him but he let someone else do my pedicure. When I was done he was with someone else. I asked how long he was gonna be since my daughter was almost finished and he hadn't even started on me. He moved the lady to someone else and then when he found out I wanted gel paint, he was obviously upset. He said " you could have gotten anyone to do this". Then he just threw the stuff on my nails. They cracked, broke and hurt so much. I will never go back to LV again and I get my nails and feet done every two weeks like clockwork. I have never had such a poor experience and they are so expensive. They nickel and dime you on everything. read more

I wanted to get a set of eyelash extensions and their only $30 here so I came here on a Saturday afternoon . We told him no and he said the woman that does eyelashes was doing someone's hair and she should be done in 30 minutes. is there a " no star rating"? basic pedicure for me. basic for my 13 year old, 1st time. acrylic nails for her with powder on top. after paying for the services yet she hasn't finished i leave come back and shes upset that she didn't have acrylic just powered nails. i ask for refund and they said she didn't say acrylic and they don't do powder on top really???? i tipped every person that serviced us walked out paying $115. owner still hasn't approached me only employees. they let me walk out disappointed and never offer my refund. we live and learn i will never return . i am a business owner and you should try to give you customers what they ask for. read more
