I saw this and decided to contact them prior to posting my review, to give them a chance to remedy the AWFUL situation I encountered. I contacted both Amerispa head office and Amerispa Laval. They chose to ignore! So here it is: Upon arrival, the receptionist was unaware that I had booked a duo massage for my mom and myself, and then told us she'd have to charge us an additional 10$ if we wanted a duo. When I called to book our massages, I booked a duo and there was no mention of additional cost, which itself is something I've never encountered in any other spa! I get most of my massages in downtown Montreal, and I've never been asked to pay an additional fee for a duo. Because I didn't want to spoil our afternoon, I just paid it without making an issue of it. When our masseuses came to get us, they tried to bring us to separate rooms and had no idea we were getting a duo. Bad communication among staff, even though the spa was empty. They then made us wait while they went to prepare the room. My mom received a Massage Détente, and she truly enjoyed it and had a great masseuse. No complaints there. I however received a prenatal, and unfortunately it was simply awful. The masseuse applied barely any pressure, even though I asked her to increase the pressure twice. She touched my head in a weird way, then moved onto my back and lightly touched up and down, and I asked her to increase the pressure as I could barely feel anything. She kept doing her light touching. Next, she massaged the bottom portion of my legs (calf & foot only), and then told me the massage was over! She left the room and I didn't get a chance to ask why my upper legs and arms and hands were not massaged at all. It only made the whole thing worse! How do you not massage someone's full legs and arms? Also, not only did she start late because they had not prepared the room, but she clearly did not give me a full 50 min and i only realized it once I got to my locker and saw the time. To say I'm extremely upset is an understatement. This was absolutely unacceptable, and I was charged 96$ for this. I waited before posting my review on online platforms, in order to give the company a fair chance to redeem itself, but clearly they didn't care. Avoid this place - you can easily get excellent massages at better rates elsewhere.

All my visits were 5-star, now you may find a spa with newer tubs, larger saunas, fancy entrances but this place has charm and to me charm, cleanliness, attentive staff is what it is all about. Take a book and relax in one of the quiet areas, of course after you've been in the hottubs, steam room, and sauna. Even take a nap on a hammock, in season of course. They also offer overnight stays which I would consider, but I'm so close it seems a bit much.

They really take care of you at Divine Lashes. They make sure to explain everything about the process of the procedure to you as well as ensuring you understand how to care for them after. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with them because they were so informative and answered all my questions completely. As for the eyelashes, they felt very natural even though they were quite dense. They never felt heavy or uncomfortable. For the wedding day, I only needed a little bit of a touch up on them. Divine Lashes worked looked super good and their concern for lashes health made me favor them over other places. As soon as I arrived, I met with Asako, I knew I was in good hands. I filled thw form and she asked me questions to ensure I would get a style of lashes extentions that I would love. Even if the first appointment is fairly long, the bed you lie on is incredibly comfortable. I can't handle having fake lashes or mascara for too long so I was a little worried to see how I woud fare with lashes extentions. I can vouch that you won't feel them at all, and Asako makes sure no lashes are stuck together. I follow the recommended daily lashes shampoo and my skincare as usual. I tend to be pretty rough, but if you are begin careful, you shouldn't more than a couple of natural lashes per day. The maintenance is pretty low, a couple minutes per day, especially if you just add it to your daily routine. TL;DR I had a fantastic appointment, was surprised by the difference lashes extension makes and I can't wait to go back for refills or another set. Thank you Asako!
