We have seen many nurse practitioners here (only one doctor, which we loved) over the last couple of years. All of the NPs we have seen have been rushed, disconnected, and unwilling to discuss concerns or options without obvious annoyance. They treat you like you're just the next case they need to cycle through- so unless you're going for something quick it pisses them off. Very arrogant and unwelcoming. Attitude amongst the nursing staff is truly an issue here. We came in for an appointment for my husband (we were 9 minutes late, our fault) but the nurse came to get us, pulled us into the room and asked what the issue was today, normal triage. My husband began to explain the event that took him to the ER two days prior and she CUT HIM OFF before he reported any complaints and said "yeah I don't think he's going to have time to discuss all of that because you were 14 minutes late." Unwilling to let her inappropriately timed comment slide, especially as a medical worker who knows that's petty as hell, we argued back and forth down to her telling us that she watched us walk in and timed us until we got into the room to which she counted 16 minutes. Weird to be timing your patients from door to seat, especially if you're getting paid to work 8-5 regardless. And also doing it wrong. I will say, I hate to write a bad review because we have seen Dr. Yut for years and we LOVE him. Genuinely the best doctor we have ever met but only bad experiences with all other staff. He argued with me about it for a good 10 minutes before he was finally able to open up the imaging and see what I was talking about... at that point, he conceded that it was NOT a hiatal hernia. He never bothered to apologize, just acted a bit sheepish as he told me how the repair would be done. I hope he was just having a bad day and isn't always so unwilling to listen to his patients, but I know he won't be doing any surgery on me.
