This is the place to go. Cool vibe when you walk in. Everybody on staff is cool and friendly, and more importantly extremely knowledgeable on their craft. This is a different haircut than you'll get anywhere in town. Your hair grows into the cut you get here and looks just as good two weeks later, not like you need to get cleaned up. I was tasked with finding a place for my boyfriend to get his lovely hair lopped off for an important meeting he had in a couple days. I was happy when I saw the photos and the effort that was put into the different styles so I sent a message through yelp, got a response less than 3 mins later and was able to have my appointment scheduled right then and there. Don't get discouraged, it's tucked inside a building that has multiple shops and salons inside of it so if you can't find it immediately that's why. As soon as you walk in, it is evident why this place has 5 stars. The shop is small but beautiful, it has modern, minimalistic, industrial decor that reminds me of a studio apartment in New York. We were immediately greeted and offered refreshments, and with no wait time my boyfriend was in the chair less than a minute after we walked in. Good vibes, good music playing. Smerling was the one who worked on my boyfriends shaggy mane, he took his time and made sure he had a clear understanding of the look that my boyfriend wanted. After everything, his hair looks great. So good, I might have to wife him up. Highly recommend Lxve Studios. I've had two haircuts so far from Kandie, and both times I have been thrilled with the results. Lxve and Kandie have earned my repeat business for the following reasons: 1) Perfectly customized haircuts: I have a long hair transplant scar at the back of my head that makes cutting/styling my hair tricky. Long overdue review. I've been coming here for about a year. Had been with 3 other barbers at first to see who I clicked with the most, and they were all fantastic, which is very rare coming from me. Look through my profile and you'll find a few other reviews I left for other barbershops.. it's really difficult to find nonasian barbers who won't screw up cutting my Asian hair, it's just something I've come to accept. But LXVE's barbers indeed are exceptional. Super chill, friendly.. they genuinely care about you and your experience there instead of just treating you like another paycheck. Place isn't big. Part of a building full of other cosmetic businesses. But I like it this way. More homey and intimate.
