Me and my family are very unhappy with the product and service we received from Lydia's flower shoppe. The arrangement that was ordered was pink roses, but the product received had red roses. And when we asked if they could change it from red to anything else but they refused to. And when we tried to ask about getting a discount they refused saying " it's not coming from me". I don't recommend this florists to ANYONE!! It is still unclear due to finger pointing who made the mistake but Lydia's flower shoppe made it crystal clear that she was unable and or unwilling to make any corrections whatsoever and absolutely not discounting the over $1,000.00 mistake she said firmly and I quote "there won't be any discount coming from me" she stated she didn't have pink roses when I was told the day before that she had received a truck we offered to find the pink roses needed ourselves and pay out of our own pockets for even more roses when one shop that was heartbroken by our treatment at Lydia's Flower Shoppe personally delivered pink roses to Lydia's they were very upset wanting to know who was paying for the roses and stating that Lydia's Flower Shoppe would not be paying for them!! You would think that they would have welcomed any help to provide good customer service to a family during such a time of loss the loss of a mother grandmother and aunt who LOVED PINK ROSES and this shop was hellbent that we were not going to get PINK roses because she didn't have enough pink roses The entire family offered to scramble and collect as many pink roses as possible from any shops available but she would not except this as a resolution either it's such a shame that this had to be a problem on the worst day of my cousins lives the loss of their mother and to be treated so rudely on top of it!! The people in this shop mainly the owner should be terribly ashamed of their customer service I hope they at least learned something from this and never cause another family such pain during such a loss!! They said they had no pink roses due to Covid I guess Covid killed all the pink roses!!!! Yes I am being sarcastic but if you will look in every Speedway and Sheetz around they have buckets full of Pink roses Kroger's Walmart they are also full of Pink roses after all it is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Patsy Smith was a breast cancer survivor it's a true shame she couldn't have Pink roses at her funeral but I guess Lydia's Flower Shoppe missed the memo about Breast Cancer Awareness month I could just go on and on about the disappointment!!! They could have atleast accepted help in correcting the problem even if they didn't have Pink!!! read more

We had Lydia's create the arrangements for the funeral flowers that surrounded my mother's casket, three in all. Gorgeous all white with Roses and Calla Lillis. There was just a hint a blue as that was my mother's favorite color. They took care of everything and made that part of the funeral process so easy. So thankful for them and the work they did. Second time ordering and this was an experience. While virtually all florists can produce the FTD bouquets, I wasn't thrilled with the selection this year- mostly tulips and roses. I wanted something with the purple irises that my mother loves and something more unique. She's 82 and extremely active but has zero needs and very few wants- cut flowers are something she loves. I called Lydia's to see what they could do in more of a custom arrangement. I gave them the parameters that I required and let them pick the rest. All I can say is IMPRESSIVE! My mother's bouquet had huge yellow roses, purple irises and the big snowball flowers with some greenery. Some were in bud form and some were already in bloom. The thing must have been 18" across and nearly 2' tall. I spent $100 on it and it was well worth the money! I also opted for a Friday delivery so she had the weekend to show off the flowers to all of her guests for a dinner. It probably saved me money to not have a weekend delivery. Two weeks later and she still has most of the flowers in bloom and looking healthy. EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! read more

Bad service. I used to use this business regularly but the women that work there now are negative and cynical. I was rudely told that I should not procrastinate next time and was not given any suggestions to help. My husband ordered me white roses my favorite and added some red for valentines day. They were the most disappointing flowers ever. He brought them home Friday as he works across the street at Medfast. Today one day later 2 of the white roses are dead. 3 of the red roses have black on them......hmmmm $106 and rotten flowers? My flowers sure do not look like the luxurious flowers they advertise. This is not the first time with issues from here and I repeadily told him not to use them. We recently used Lydia's for a funeral in Ambridge. We visited the shop and had a great conversation with the staff who promised to make the color tweaks to arrangements we requested. When the flowers arrived, they were outstanding. I have used other florists in the area, but from now on I will use Lydia's. They provided great flowers, personalized service, on-time delivery and went beyond what was requested. Their prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them! read more
