He is a very good Doctor very efficient, he does not waste your time but, he is never rushed with patients. He tells you like it is and he is not afraid to change medications that other Drs (specialists) have prescribed for your well being . He uses his keen Medical knowledge and the knowledge of the patient to determine this it seems. He has displayed great incite when issues arise as far as health and Insurance coverages, drug interactions, and the handling and filing( His office) of all the tons of red tape paperwork that are sometimes needed. On one office visit I had a medical emergency and all I remember is him being cool as a cucumber knowing EXACTLY what to do when a few of the nurses seem to be in a panic of sorts . GREAT DOCTOR!

While on vacation I checked in with a relatively small case of cellulitis. I will be checking out with an unaggressively treated case of cellulitis, dysentery, and possibly a MERSA to boot. While all hospital organizations are notoriously apathetic and obsessed with the smell of their own red tape, Novant Health is a stand out of incompetence and lip service. I did have the fortune of a kind nurse who at least SEEMED to be compassionate to my pleas for help once their antibiotics had ravaged my system of all natural Flora and beneficial bacteria. Still my hydration, comfort, and piece of mind were of no consequence to the organization whatsoever. The physician on call in the hospital was perfectly happy to let me check out at 330am to walk to the nearest 7-11 where medical help was more accessible and less fussy. I would suggest if you're in the vicinity of Salisbury NC don't get sick or injured. And if you do, seek treatment in Atlanta, Nashville, or Jacksonville instead. Given the lowly state of the education system in NC, I shouldn't have really expected to be treated by anyone who wasn't concerned about the remote possibility that a trannie might have used the bathroom right before them or that they might catch your contagious homosexuality by breathing the same air you do while performing routine activities like taking your blood pressure. Common sense and compassion are completely absent from the Novant Health System. Pray you get sick above the Mason Dixon line or somewhere in Florida. Patient care is not a priority here.

Im getting to the age where things arent quite the same, Im not quite the same and I asked around amongst friends and Dr. Gayle was the most recommended. I had not been to a "female dr" in 20 years but a woman gets to a time when you need help. I loved Dr. Gayle the moment I met her. She is warm, friendly, personable, sits and talks to you like a friend not one of those quick in and out kind of Doctors. We talked about all my symptoms, we laughed, I cried and felt like I had found someone who understood exactly what I was going through. Its a load off your shoulders when you know your Doctor gets what you are saying no matter what the subject is. She gave me a choice of treatments and I chose one and I have been very happy with how I have felt since beginning the treatment. I am on my way to feeling like myself again and I couldn't be happier! Make an appointment. Go see her. You wont regret it. When you walk in her office you are instantly at ease, it is a very calming atmosphere, go, dont put it off.

I arrived 30 mins early for my 8am appointment. Parking was easy to find during my early morning visit, which was surprising to me. I expected to drive around a bit looking for a parking spot. I received an email and text days prior to confirming the location for my appointment. After taking the elevator to the second floor, the check-in staff greeted me and directed me to the waiting room. The check-in staff are conveniently located right next to the elevator. There were two other veterans waiting but I was called back within about 5 minutes of waiting. No complaints there. The procedure was explained and all my questions answered , which put me at ease. Especially being a new experience and I visit this location maybe once a year. The nurse took very good care of me and took the time to provide clarity for any parts of the process that I was unsure about. The procedure went smoothly and I am appreciative for no long wait times or issues. I would return for care here based on my most recent experience with the X-ray/Imaging department.

On 7/5 I arrived at the ER with possible heart attack symptoms. High blood pressure, fast…read moreheartbeat, lightheaded, unsteady and partially disoriented, with a history of spasms near the heart. PA. R.M. was not receptive at all. He wanted to discharge me within a few minutes. I was put on the monitor by the nurse and the warnings for apnea and AFIB keep going off. Despite this he wanted to do nothing and asked me what to do. I asked for a cardiac work up and he reluctantly agreed. I was there 4 days earlier with similar issues and was told to return if I got worse. I felt worse. The tests showed no heart attack, so I was discharged immediately. I walked in but was discharged in a wheelchair feeling worse than I did on arrival. I have NEVER in my 70 years been treated like I was a pain in ass just for showing up until 7/5/26 in the VA Emergency Room. My complaints will get feedback or I will write to Washington. Use this ER at your own risk.

The girl at the desk (didn't get her name, it was on 6/19/26) cheerfully offered to make me an appointment for the following day after discovering that I didn't have an appointment. She said they didn't have any availability left for the day. I looked around, no one waiting and all of the door to the rooms were open. Funny. She and the provider were just waiting until 5. She wanted me to make my child wait another day to start antibiotics to treat swimmers ear, so that she didn't have to get up and clean the room again after a provider looked in his ear. That's literally all it took, but the privately owned urgent care in Lexington was MORE THAN HAPPY AND ACCOMMODATING. Unfortunately, I work for Novant so they want us to use these GoHealth Urgent Cares. After this experience, I can assure you I will not. What horrible care to offer to people. If you make it a habit to deny service to people, just lock the door when whoever inside decided it will be too inconvenient to serve any more patients.

So a tall black to the right, was talking over me & the lady checking me in. She kept saying if I wasn't satisfied with them, I could go somewhere else... This is in Salisbury NC... then she told patient that I was a difficult patient & she knew I heard her..... Then Dr was ok but got impatient when I asked her to repeat herself.??? She said I had the flu....I had a very deep rattling cough but she didn't give any antibiotics of decongestant . I will never go there again. Nasty unfriendly vibe in there... The floater the first day was very very nice. She said they couldn't give their names?? Come on Novant, you can get nice friendly ople somewhere. Thanks
