They even put their new lock on our unit, that we later found had sat open and exposed to the elements. But again...NEVER notified us that they had had break ins and that our unit was one of those vandalized. We lost a lot of valuable and sentimental items. They had no problems contacting us about taking our monthly auto payments! We had friends in the area that would have happily went in on our behalf had we known there was a problem! We even found bins of items that didn't belong to us! We turned them into the office... hopefully they made it back into the proper owners hands and not just tossed out.

It was quite simply long overdue. Northern Skies Roofing bid the job, along with 2 others, plus 2 that never came out, despite our inquiries. The first impression was the the selling point: punctual, polite, straightforward, answered all of our questions, gave advice, patient & at no point pushed us for a decision... and, impressively, never bad-mouthed any of the other companies we were looking at. We didn't feel like we were dealing with a salesman, which was nice. We had to verify eligibility with the insurance company before proceeding, which took longer than expected. Still, no pressure. Bids were Mon & Tue. We selected them on Thur & work started Fri. There was just a bit left to wrap up the next day. The 5 man crew knocked out the house & garage in -14hrs, with tear off, new shigles, new vent-thingies & acthorough clean-up. That's including coming back the next day with the new vent-thingies. By then, the warm-weather window was gone & they went up in the cold to get that part finished. Pricing was reasonable. At final inspection, we were happy enough that we asked for a siding quote, as well, with no rush. I've attached pictures of the old shingles, work & finished product. Bonus Credit: The crew found Steve, my prop alien, somewhere out there during the clean-up. We've been looking for him for MONTHS!

When Morgan first came for the walk through the quote for the work I wanted done was very high between $700 to $900. I told her that was too expensive so I cut the list of tasks in half. She said she would adjust the price and I assumed that meant it would also be cut in half. Unfortunately that was not the case. For two hours of cleaning (two cleaners) I was charged $600. That breaks down to $150 per hour per person which I feel is extremely overpriced for a deep clean. On top of that one of the employees took four smoke breaks during that short time. I also noticed damage to both my fridge and floors afterward. When I reached out to address this and to share my concerns about pricing I felt dismissed. Instead of trying to resolve things Morgan told me their work was "impeccable and perfect" and then wished me a great day. There was no apology for the damage or attempt to make things right only a request that I send pictures. While she did apologize for me being dissatisfied she also told me that "in this industry you get what you pay for" which I found unhelpful and dismissive. To be fair the cleaning itself was decent but the cost was unreasonable and the customer service left a lot to be desired. If you hire them just be aware the work is fine but you will pay a premium. In my experience $150 per hour per person is not reasonable.
