There's plenty of free parking around the office. The waiting room was clean & comfortable with WiFi. There was no wait, Jada took me quickly and asked about my medical history. She requested x-rays that were completed immediately in office. Dr. Tucker came in after the x-rays and showed me the tear in my elbow. I've been a patient at this doctor's office for several months, and recently, my experience has…read morebeen incredibly frustrating. I would strongly discourage everyone and anyone from going to Certified Foot and Ankle Specialists. There are number of issues when dealing with this facility: 1. They force the patient to have an MRI in their Boynton Beach office, they double billed the insurance company and when you try to resolve the issue you can't get anyone on the phone. I've made no less than 7 phone calls to speak with the billing manager (Debbie) and I never receive a return call. 2. To make matters worse, I was essentially forced to use the office's designated lab for my routine tests. I felt pressured, with little to no choice, as the office strongly suggested I only use their in-office partner lab, which ended up being much more expensive than other options I had researched. But the most troubling part of all was learning that the office doesn't even review the test results in-house. Instead, they outsource the analysis to another provider - Boca Radiology and now I'm getting a separate invoice from Boca Radiology. I was left waiting a few weeks for critical health information, with no communication from the office about the status of my tests. When I insisted on going to Rayus for the MRI, the doctor stated it is better to have the test in his office and I was never told I would get a separate invoice from Boca Radiology. 3. The office in Boynton pushes their own devices, including rubber heal inserts and the orthopedic boot when it is not required. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the lack of transparency, the billing confusion, and the unnecessary outsourcing of services. I expect better from my healthcare providers.

worst appointment ever for my 84 year old mother. never had a problem with nail clipping AT OTHER…read moreDOCTORS with her nail care. trying to find a Dr office a little closer to her ....a short drive with horrible consequences. not worth it.... the thing is I know what happen...the doctor did not listen it was a Friday night last appointment and they were all ready to go. unfortunately my mom paid the price. we go in.... nurse does her thing , clipped a little bit...talking to us doctor came in. looks my mom asked SEVERAL TIMES FOR PAIN MEDS. she told him he was hurting her and he did not stop...he said hold on a little more. after my mom asked for anything to put on for the pain ....nope nope nope...your good you will be fine. my mom is I. remission of a very rare blood cancer. they knew that. well one day later her big toe swelled with pus and infection that covered her whole big toe. had to take her to the emergency room. lancing, antibiotics , pain meds, 3 week recovery...if he would have just took his time and listen to his patient this would have not happen so now we are going back to her old podiatrist 30 miles away ...it is worth the drive. However, when I recently found I needed to have a painful callus removed from my big toe, I very briefly thought of going elsewhere because of my exhausting schedule of responsibilities. I decided against it and drove to see Dr. Gold as I knew I should. I am happy to report he confirmed that I made the right choice again.. In addition, to him dealing with the strange callus I never had before, I needed him to evaluate my 8 month old orthotics which he had made for me. I am extremely hard on my shoes and feet as I walk between 20,000 to 30,000 steps per day. That is 2-3 times the recommended goal of 10,000 steps. As a result, both my feet and my shoes get a real beating from me. As it turned out, my orthotics needed to have their top layer replaced as I had completely wore it down. Dr. Gold suggested I go directly to "Peter" who was an additional 15-20 minutes away from where I live in Florida. When I explained how far away I lived and asked if he thought I could be seen there today, much to my surprise and delight, Dr. Gold took it upon himself to text Peter to see if it was possible for Peter to see me when I arrived there that day. The answer was "YES." I drove to Peter who has been awarded a special status from New Balance for his outstanding work. He replaced the worn top cushion of my orthotic and when I asked him how much I owed him, he informed me, "Nothing" as it was covered under the warranty. I was expecting to need to shell out a $100. "Nothing" was a very pleasant and most welcome delight. Same day service. My feet and I could not be happier with the results. Back to Dr. Gold who not only did he do a superb job on removing my unusual for me callus, but he took the time to play detective and figure out WHY I had a callus there. He examined both my sneakers, and orthotics and the way they fit in my sneakers and explained to me and showed me exactly what was going on. As a result, I was able to make changes to my footwear to correct the problem to avoid the callus returning. Last but not least, I must finish with how moved I was that Dr. Gold took it upon himself to text Peter on my behalf to make it possible for me to get into see him regarding my orthotics the same day. I really was in dire need to have them repaired as soon as possible but at the same time was short on time for myself as I am caring for my elderly father who has dementia. It ain't easy. Dr. Gold's care and concern and act of kindness is of no small matter to me, and I could not appreciate him more. What makes it all the more extraordinary to me is I am not exactly an established patient with less than a year's experience as his patient. I simply cannot sing his praises to you loudly enough.
