After such a long time between washings, our house is an excellent example of what they can do! This was our first time using AWU. They soft-washed the entire house (three stories in the back and on the side), cleaned the dormers and windows, brightened the gutters, and pressure-washed a porch and steps that need painting. They also cleaned the screened-in porch and the patio. My husband and I appreciated the communication, kindness, and professionalism from each member of the team we encountered: via text, Dave was courteous and helpful; in the office, Randi worked very hard to reschedule us and fit us into the schedule when other factors came up. She was always cheerful and pleasant and returned calls when she said she would. Zach answered our many questions concerning the estimate and the different services we wanted, and we felt that he gave sound, reasonable advice. We received multiple texts and emails informing us when (and who) would be coming to work. Nate and Chad arrived on time and did an incredible job. I have texts and emails that I requested them to come by 11:00 am because I was driving from Fredericksburg. They said ok, we will wait. Then while I was on my way, I called them several times and texted them updating my arrival which was 10:15am. They said, no problem. They started at 10:30 and charged me extra for 11/2 hours which I don't understand. Every item was packed in boxes and in ikea moving bags which they called plastic bags. The reason I packed in ikea bags so they are easy to carry and protected my items. I worked as hard as they did to make sure they don't complaint but the whole time they complained and advised me to trash my belongings. They gossiped with my sister complaining. I am a US citizen but foreigner who speaks in an accent. Their first question was; where are you from? They mistreated me, abused my belongings. Instead of two hours work which my other mover who loaded the truck completed in two hours, they did it in 5 hours because the whole time they were taking tea break and snack break and of course talking breaks. It was a 3 hours job but I got charged for extra hours and for their trip to my location which is beyond acceptable. They charge you over $175 just because they had to drive to your location. This business is a heartless scam. They are racists and prejudiced as well. I have documents saved up that they are scambugs and are liars. The movers handled my belongings very carelessly, and some of my very expensive items were broken and damaged due to the way furniture and boxes were stacked on top of them. Items were placed and piled without proper care, which caused significant damage. I also believe I was overcharged for the service provided and feel I was not charged fairly for what was done. Because of the situation, I had to hire another moving company to help undo the damage and assist in bringing my furniture down safely, which resulted in additional costs. Altogether, I suffered thousands of dollars in damages and losses. After I left my review, I received multiple calls from the company threatening legal action if I did not remove my review, which I felt was an attempt to pressure or intimidate me. I have photographic evidence and eyewitness accounts showing the condition of my belongings before and after the move. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Mighty Movers of Lynchburg.

From the very beginning, Mark Jr. and Mark Sr. were so positive and supportive and extremely helpful. I live in a different state and could not leave my job to come and help with any of this, but they never once made me feel like I needed to. I felt like I could 100% trust them. I felt like my parents were in such good hands and my parents also felt like everyone was very respectful and cautious with their belongings...and this cleanup was a BIG cleanup for a lot of reasons, and they never once made anyone feel shame about it. I can not recommend ServiceMaster of Lynchburg highly enough! If you have a household emergency, these are the guys to call. They are truly the best and I would definitely work with them again, although I hope to not have to!
