Delighted to find all day brunch in Tralee and not only that but they had matcha latte on the menu…read moreand my favourite, eggs Benedict. It was all so good. The eggs cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. I perfect brunch in Tralee highly recommended

We walked by and the coffee smelt so good, decided to do our last breakfast in Tralee here…read more I stuck with my usual of the full Irish and got: - Ashes Sausage: this was darn tasty - Ashes white pudding: if Chicken Pate and Chicken sausages had a love child, this would be it - so good and creamy! Best white pudding eaten on the trip so far! - Killorglin smoked bacon: smoky and crispy and oh so good. My co-diners ordered extra!! - Jack McCarthy black pudding: I tried to take a pic of the ruby-red and purple colour and failed. It was elegant and lovely. - Ardfert free range eggs: the richness and yellow yolks were divine - grilled tomato: decent, might be weakest part of the brekkie - tomato chutney: I licked this clean and got seconds. Perfect blend of spices, onions, tomatoes and sultanas. I would just go and get this and eat it with good Irish cheddar cheese - toast: two different varieties and crisp - freshly roasted filter coffee: fantastically light roast. All for €9,95!! This was the first full Irish breakfast I ate where I walked up and felt perfectly full but not stuffed. The Roast House has my vote for the #1 Irish breakfast in Tralee with Yummy Cafe as #2. We also got tempted by their desserts and the Walnut coffee cake was divine! It had properly fresh cream frosting, whipped light as air, moist cake and we demolished it plus took cappuccino to go. Absolutely recommend and would go again when/if in Tralee again! Note: #275 of Yelp 100 challenge for 2016

During my 2 week visit in Ireland, I was searching everyday for the best cafés. When I was in…read moreKillarney I came across Noelles and it was hands down my favorite café in Ireland. I got the Honeycomb mocha and a vegetarian panini I believe was called Yoko Ono. Both were incredibly delicious and when I left I got another mocha to go! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. The café itself had several rooms each decorated differently as well as outdoor seating. I noticed that they supported local artists and most of the art on the walls had price tags (which is a huge plus.) Overall this café is great and has a wonderful aesthetic value and I would recommend it to any travelers who find themselves in Killarney and any locals who have wandered in yet!

On our final full day in Killarney, a quiet Sunday morning called for two simple pleasures: good…read morecoffee and fresh scones. Wandering down Old Market Lane, Noelle's Café seemed to offer the one thing that can be surprisingly elusive on a busy weekend--an open table. It turned out to offer much more than that. Stepping inside, we were greeted with a warm welcome that immediately set the tone. The coffee was expertly prepared, the freshly baked scones were outstanding, and the generous dollop of whipped cream that accompanied them was exceptional--light, rich, and indulgent without overwhelming the pastry. Sometimes the simplest breakfast, when done well, is the most satisfying. Old Market Lane is one of Killarney's most historically significant streets, serving as the town's commercial heart throughout the 18th and 19th centuries when merchants and craftsmen filled its narrow passageways. Today, its historic character remains intact, even as cafés, boutiques, and galleries have transformed it into one of Killarney's most inviting pedestrian lanes. Settling into the café's intimate rear courtyard with coffee in hand, we found ourselves immersed in Killarney's unmistakably international atmosphere. Conversations flowed in several languages, blending effortlessly with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries. It was a reminder that while Killarney proudly celebrates its Irish heritage, it has also become a welcoming destination for visitors from around the world. Regular readers know that I generally prefer restaurants and cafés to leave politics at the door. I believe there is a time and a place for political expression, and for me, dining should provide a welcome respite from the day's debates. Fortunately, what ultimately defines Noelle's Café is not any signage or messaging one might notice, but the warmth of its hospitality. The gracious staff, excellent coffee, and superb baked goods are what linger in the memory long after the cups have been cleared. Sometimes the most memorable cafés aren't the ones you carefully plan to visit--they're the ones you discover by chance, where genuine hospitality, excellent coffee, and a seat in a charming courtyard combine to capture the spirit of a place. Noelle's Café did exactly that, making it a fitting farewell to our time in Killarney.
