I read all the Google reviews on various companies and choose Expert Insulation…read more First I had a quote done. I was contacted quickly and made the appointment for the quote. Very easy. Went online and requested the quote and received a phone call to set it up. The gentleman who came for the quote was quite informative and helpful and professional. He was easy to talk to and sent me the quote within 15 minutes of the inspection. I also needed a vent hooked up to the outside and they were able to quote for that too. Took about 3 weeks to get the insulation blow in because they have been busy. Which was no big deal. Roofer with the company or the company uses was professional and came before the insulation went in. What I appreciated was his professional demeanour and they said they would arrive between 8-4 and were at my house moments after 8am. And was done incredibly quick. I received a reminder notice of the insulation being installed with photos of who the technicians would be. They both arrived within the set timeline (even with the freezing rain issues). Very professional and kind. They told me what they'd be doing to make sure what I wanted is being done. Then explained the process and went right into putting barriers in place to not damage my floors or walls. They let me pop my head into the attic to see the before and after as well as my new vent instal (after the insulation is in I wouldn't be able to see it). They were very professional. I appreciate how well they cleaned up afterwards. They also interacted with each other in a professional way. They wiped down above all my doors and trim and vacuumed all the insulation that blew off the blanket/throws. I was also impressed that it wasn't very loud. I expected it to be a noisy process and it wasn't. I highly recommend Expert Insulation. Very thankful for the amazing work that's been done and the people I interacted with were great.

Very disappointed in the lack of responsibility that this company has taken for the mess they have created for us. Initially installation looks like a good job. But later in the year when we began building the deck off of the new patio doors the installed for us, we saw how they were installed improperly. The patio doors were installed too high with a 2x4 placed underneath. This creates a tripping hazard entering and exiting the house to the deck. As we continued around the house to prepare for new siding, we realize the kitchen window would also need to be reset as the window was set out too far. We contracted this company to do 3 houses for us, and our deeply concerned as to what kind of workmanship we will find on the other 2 once we begin residing them. We reached out to the company and there solution below was that we should pay more to have them correct the shoddy workmanship they created. Hope you are doing well. After discussion with our Installation Manager, we would like to confirm that, from our point of view, we do not see any deficiencies with the patio door installation. Unfortunately, because of this, we are unable to address the issue under warranty. As a possible solution, we can lower the level of the patio door and build up the area above the door to fill the gap. The cost for this work would be $550 + GST if our installation crew is already working in your area. If urgent installation is required and the crew needs to travel from Edmonton specifically for this service, an additional service call charge of $350 + GST would apply. Horrible communication. I had to hound them every step of the way to keep in contact with me and I was never notified of any delays in the process and my windows ended up being over a month overdue from the date promised in my contract. Delays happen of course but nothing was done to let me know about it so I could make arrangements for the new install window. Absolutely zero customer service available to try and make things better. I had to go into the branch in order to find out my windows had been done for over a week already and once actually able to be booked for installation, the install guys did a good job but seemed unwilling to interact with me in my own home. From start to finish, there was a complete disconnect between customer and their company. Happy with the product, could not be more upset with the process. For a company with a mission statement reading "100% Customer Satisfaction", they certainly missed the mark. I hope others can see this review and steer clear of Window Mart Edmonton.
