Lynn creates magic! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing all of our photos are. She is amazing at finding the perfect angle, lighting, and giving direction to make us feel comfortable. We were also so surprised and so pleased that the morning following our wedding (less than 24 hours) we got our album preview!! And we received the remainder of our album before we returned from our honeymoon (about a month post-wedding). Lynn's husband, Keith, was also our officiant and he did an incredible job with our ceremony. We got many compliments on his ceremony, even after our big day. Lynn is the absolute best!! I had been following her on IG for some time before I reached out inquiring about an engagement shoot. She was so helpful throughout the planning process - I think it only took maybe a week for us to commit to having her as our wedding photographer too :) My now husband and I were literally clueless about weddings - having only been to 2 weddings ever before our own. But Lynn was so patient and clearly answered all of our questions in a super timely manner. We did our engagement shoot about 9 months before the wedding and we had so much fun! Lynn has SO much energy it's literally contagious and she knew all the best ways to bring out the most genuine moments. We were so happy when we got our engagement photos - many of them made it to the wedding as well as decorations! On the day of our wedding, Lynn made us feel so at ease! Her husband Keith was our officiant and they are literally the dream team. We knew we were in good hands :) She captured the perfect moments throughout the wedding and we were blown away when we got the photos back. I don't know how she does it, but she has an incredible eye and will pose you / find the perfect backdrop and everything ends up working like magic. Lynn Lewis is one who showed us her loving and fair character. We already knew her extraordinary talent, kindness and professionalism from her photography of our older daughter's wedding 4 years ago. Rescheduling dates, venues and some vendors became a stressful (and litigious) HORRIBLE experience for the wedding couple. Lynn was calm in the face of panic, generous in the face of having to lose a summer's business and fair in all her dealings. I have read others' yelp reviews and couldn't agree more. Lynn was amazing to work with from start to finish! She provided recommendations from places to stay to specific vendors for anything we may have wanted, which was sooo helpful especially since we are from out of state and don't know the area very well. We selected the locations we wanted and she knew exactly where to go to capture us within the beautiful scenery of Big Sur. She was also incredibly quick to respond and kept us updated on an unexpected park closure for a location we chose and even provided alternative options so we could still have the experience of going through the redwoods! She directed us as much as we wanted but knew exactly when to let us be ourselves and caught the moments of joy and pure happiness between us. We got sneak peeks the day after and got the rest in less than month after the date! We had her husband, Keith, officiate and his ceremony was beautiful. We didn't want anything overly traditional and he really nailed it! He really incorporated the spirituality and resilience of the redwoods and beauty surrounding us to keep us in the moment, which is exactly why we chose to elope in the redwoods. We selected Lynn because of her amazing ability to capture those special moment on camera and her experience with taking shots in the redwoods. This was something very specific to me and since I selected my venue based on having redwoods. We had a phone chat with her to interview her process and I just felt really comfortable with her personality. Lynn was super organized and professional. Answering all my emails and questions very promptly. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how one photographer was going to do it all, but Lynn is super efficient and patient. Lynn is amazing with Color, lighting and positions! She has a really good eye for beautiful, wonderful shots! As well as giving you, your space during the ceremony, yet still getting amazing shots! She is also really nice, easy to talk to and work with! I was so thankful for her when i was in another wedding and seeing another photographer work. She had great input and advice, and she gave great referrals (which is how we found our videographer who we also enjoyed working with!!). Ian: We first came across Lynn's work through our friend CJ and her now fiance Pau, who recently got engaged and had proposal photos taken by Lynn. At dinner with our friends in February, CJ showed us the photos and we loved them! Erica (my now fiancee) made a comment to me to "take notes!" A few months later, when I was planning my proposal, I reached out to Lynn to see if she could help me surprise Erica with a proposal this summer. Throughout the next few months leading up to the date of my proposal, Lynn was amazing! She responded to every question I had, and a few times when I was feeling nervous about all the planning, Lynn provided amazing ideas and suggestions to make the day even more special. I think we exchanged at least 50 emails back and forth, planning everything out. And it was perfect! Lynn worked with a florist that I hired to place a bouquet of flowers at a specific location in Golden Gate Park that my sister had helped me find. Lynn then pretended to be photographing the trees in the park, hiding until Erica and I came to the location. She took INCREDIBLE photos of the proposal, and afterward set up a fantastic engagement shoot with our families! Overall, working with Lynn was an amazing experience. Off all the decisions I made for my wedding this past April, the best one was Lynn Lewis. SHE IS AMAZING IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. If it wasn't the most annoying thing possible, I would write this entire review in capitals just to convey how much I loved Lynn. Her demeanor and vibe on the day of the wedding were perfect. She was so easy to work with and had great tips for us on how to pose or what to say to each other to make the other sweetly laugh. She just made it so comfortable. She was also efficient and got great shots without taking us away from our guests for too long. As for the final product, the photos are beyond belief beautiful. And I promise it's not just us or that we might be photogenic, and Lynn didn't have a hard subject. I am constantly making strange faces, or have my eyes closed, or am in bad lighting in most pictures I take. But Lynn managed to make my husband and me look amazing in every shot. It takes a certain person with certain skills to be a good wedding photographer (it's one thing to capture beautiful images of nature, but beautiful images of nature and people and love, that's on another level).
