This was a huge mistake moving here, management team are very unprofessional and all but one actually response to your questions, but one cannot do it by themselves. Summer is almost here and they have already made it miserable. They are not up front about fees and these fees are not in your lease . They claim because of this statement when it comes to the pool rules and regulations posted in the pool area management policies gives them the right to charge a fee in cash. We have no idea where this cash is going and there should be more paying option, not sure about all of you, but who actually carries cash these days. Also, why hide the fact that there is a fee for the pool be upfront and have it listed in the lease to make it legal. We all pay a lot of money to live here and we here for the amenities and location What will they start charging for next? Part of the lease they tell you they want your apartment to look the same way when you leave that it was when you came. I don't think I could do that considering my apartment was filthy. Walls had marks on them bedroom blinds were broken. There was pee in the toilet had been there for a while because it was black cabinets had food in them. Refrigerator was disgusting.I just don't understand how this happened. Never mind the process was horrible. Nothing was ready. They lost information that was sent to them and the manager decide yell my personal information from her office instead of getting up coming out there was people in the I don't know about you, but I don't like my personal business out there for everybody to hear unprofessional Is an understatement. i am sure there will be payback from the office here but I think people should know . Oh boy where do I start. I lived at the Lynnfield Commons for 7 years until 2018. Came back in 2022. The management was amazing up until 3 months ago. They pretty much hired Cruella de Vil.....It has been the worst few months. 1st off it started with a mental women that tried to stab me with a butcher knife, coming out of her patio door on the ground level as I just parked my car. Have had expensive packages stolen! Then I had someone trying to break into my house, assaulted and harassed me and the Lynnfield Commons have done absolutely nothing on all levels!! I now get 2 lease violations! Never have I ever been through this ever and been renting for 25 years!! I'm an amazing tenant as I'm a landlord myself and know what is expected!!! I'm the girl that picks things up when people just don't feel like using a trash barrel!! This new office manager is out to get me as I have a TRUMP flag on my balcony and they have been telling me to remove it but the rules according to the lease agreement as they sent me are- XII- residents shall not display any signs, exterior lights or markings on dwelling. No awnings or other projections shall be attached to the outside of the building of which dwelling is a part. They sent an email out and the sign part was highlighted in RED and that was directly to me!! As no-1 in the entire complex has a flag besides me. But about 50 balconies have lights, things hanging and so much more on the dwelling! The other violation was a disturbance on a Saturday night, my teenage daughter had a couple friends over for a birthday from 8-10 PM and so now what we cant even have people over. This new manager BEWARE!! Most people in complex has already figured her out and not to well liked! I spend well over 3K every single month and cant even live a life....Meanwhile my rent is there on the 1st or before the 1st! They should start worrying about who they are letting move into this complex as recently its been very BAD! They should also be more concerned about rent that is due! Not a TRUMP sign and just looking to bully me beyond!! Also when you call corporate it takes 3-4 weeks to even get a call back. I called 5 days ago as an emergency to corporate and still no call back! Getting in contact with the vice president of the company as this is that bad!! If u don't drive u are stranded, and don't recommend ground level maintenance man looks down to people who are l low income. I was a smoker and nothing with a sign in bold letters stating no smoking They considered themselves Green.... Ok walk all the way down hill near dealer ship ... and the people don't look at u or say hi.. Beautiful and spacious apartment but maintenance man only 1 not all looked icy windows and I reported it.. He said to me several times no smoking in unit. I love a bright house blinds had to be shut its like he thought I was smoking in unit.. well got a notice that they smell smoke.. well 7 people in my building smoked.But they were wrong.. they check filters.. secretary Jamie wonderful. But the people need to realize you live on a highway..not in the heart of lynnfield.. beautiful apartment but not friendly!!! 6 months I left and got my security deposit back!! Lynnfield commons wrong filter clean and it was cleaner than as if it was replaced!! I was apprehensive about moving to a large apartment community after living in a home I owned. I must say the first day I moved into my apartment it felt like home. The office and maintenance team have been wonderful I couldn't be happier. The one drawback to living here is the parking, it is limited for renters and visitors. There is one thing I would suggest lowering the rental fee of the garage parking, perhaps more of us would park in the garage if it didn't cost as much as it does. If I go out at night and return late I have to park further away from my building. The parking issue has been noted since 2014 there must be something Corcoran can do to fix the problem. read more

Pro: Great location, nice counters and other touches, non smoking complex, large bathrooms and closets. Con: management is terrible, they don't respond to issues, cheap construction -the noise travels through (I can hear the guy next door snoring two rooms away), parking spots are not monitored for residents, the hallways and elevators get and remain exceptionally dirty, and the gym equipment is always broken. read more

Do not move here. We have had loud neighbors for the past year and a half. We can hear their bed creaking above out bedroom. We can hear their voices all throughout the night. I do not remember the last time I slept through a night. The rent keeps going up, and the things we are getting are not. There is no security, which makes me feel uneasy. Our apartment was broken into and almost everything of value was stolen. The emotional toll was worse. I repeat, DO NOT LIVE HERE. First the good. Nice area with pretty surroundings. Convenient to highways, shopping, etc. Green community with a non-smoking policy, although some don't adhere to the policy. Ample parking. The maintenance is excellent. Problems are fixed in a timely and efficient manner. Head of maintenance is friendly and easy to deal with. Good mix of tenants, from young professionals to families with kids to elderly. Nice pool, although rather small. Fitness room is ample although not maintained as well as it should be. One of the cardio machines was out of order for some time before being fixed. Now the bad. Noisy. Walls are thin with not much, if any, soundproofing so you can here your neighbors TV's, music, showers, garbage disposals, doors closing, etc. Interior of buildings are not maintained as well as they should be. Carpets used to be vacuumed on a weekly basis but that has slacked off over the last several months. Now, they only vacuum the entry ways. There are stains on the carpets in some of the common areas even though the carpets were all recently cleaned, so it seems that it might be time for them to install new carpeting and this time it would be to their advantage to install a decent quality carpet that will hold up to the constant use it gets. Perhaps a darker color and pattern that will not show the stains as much as the current carpeting they have. Also, when it gets really warm and humid outside all of the carpeting, both in the common areas and inside your apartment home, will warp. This is something I've never experienced in an apartment community before. There are areas that could use a fresh coat of paint as well, such as exit doors and around the mail area and elevators. I wouldn't say the buildings are run down, just that they are not maintained as well as they should be for this kind of community. Office staff is mediocre. Sometimes cooperative and friendly. Other times not. It all depends on the issues. They don't seem to be as on top of things as much as they should be. When i first moved in several years ago there was a young woman named Jenna that was wonderful. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable, cooperative. Sadly, she left so things have gone a bit downhill since then. There have been some break ins here in the community. But overall it seems to be a pretty safe place to live in. There are three apartment buildings on the property. I live in building one, which is located directly across from the clubhouse. Building two is the only pet friendly building on the property. Building three sets up on the hill and I hear the views from that building are really nice. Like any apartment community there are positives and negatives to living here. I would have given a higher star rating if it wasn't for the office staff and noise level. read more
