The website shows a full, round bouquet with blooms built up on all sides. What arrived was flat on top with a single sprig sticking up, and lacked fullness all around. When I asked my sister for more photos -- hoping the first ones were just a bad angle -- she had to look down to see the flowers, since a large hydrangea bloom was sunk in the middle of the arrangement to take up space. It's simply not what was advertised. I've attached photos of what was advertised vs the product so you can see the difference for yourself. I order arrangements for occasions like this often and don't mind paying for quality, but this felt like amateur hour compared to the website photo. On the plus side, my sister loved the surprise and said the flowers smelled wonderful -- I just wish the arrangement itself matched what I purchased. There was an option to "tip" the florist. Probably should have done this to get some inspiration put into it.

J and I went today, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's a gift shop-hardware store hybrid, so that amongst pest control, heavy duty cleaners, and drill bits, you'll find scented candles and gourmet consumables. We had just come from AuburnArt.com, The Villager, and Whapsody, so we were all candled-out, but we ended up buying Wickles and Not Yo' Mama's hot sauce. I only had minimal interaction with the cashier, but he seemed like a nice guy. This is all good stuff since my last local hardware store experience was less that stellar [cough cough, Five Points Hardware in Birmingham]. Now I can say I've purchased hot sauce at a hardware store. Love.

We had an item that did not have a price tag on it and told her that it was the only one we could find in the store. With a rude attitude she told us, we need a similar item to ring it up. We patiently waited. When the item could not be found by another employee, again with negative attitude she told us she could not sell it to us because she did not have the sku number. Little did she know I had already looked it up online and had the sku number available. At the end the item was sold to us with the sku number I provided to her from their online website. I know you could have done this yourself and shame on you. This goes to management, please do better. We have more class than to make a scene, but the treatment was so uncalled for.
