There's street parking on all sides of the park, and 450-space underground parking on Elm Street that you can check for open-spaces online. We strolled through the flat paths, pausing here and there on the many sometimes-shady benches. Us adults read various historical and commemorative markers. The kids played a little in the fountain, then played more in the sunnier playground to (mostly) dry out before the return ride to Findlay. There was a nice open-air bar in the middle of the park, nice restaurants and bars within a couple blocks in all directions, at least one vacation rental, and at least one rentable event venue in a historic building. There's Wifi! Public restrooms :-) A dog-park. Woof! The website said food trucks, but we didnt look for them. There are free concerts and movies and yoga and monthly flea markets, but not midday on the weekday when we were there. This is a nice relaxing easy-to-reach 8-acre greenspace with lots going on, in the western part of OTR, and a destination for all kinds of activities. Well done, Cincy!

It's a perfect place to take a walk, relax, people watch, or spend time with family. Being right next to Cincinnati Music Hall gives it even more character. The park is clean, welcoming, and feels like a true gathering place for the city. Definitely worth checking out if you're visiting downtown Cincinnati.

I just happen to pass the sign for the park, so I decided to head out for an adventure. It had just rained before I visited this park, so the trails were slightly muddy. I would love to go back once all the leaves and bushes are full of their green leaves and when the trail is not slippery wet and muddy. However, I happened to see some people trail running, as I was exploring. This would be a great place to do that! According to the map next to one of the trails I was exploring, it looks like there is about a 2 mile loop that crosses over the creek in two spots. You can walk this, hike it, or even decide to run the path. There are multiple entrances down to the trail. I ended up taking a muddy downhill to the creek, but as I begin walking, I realized that there were other places that led to the creek that had a set of stairs. If you are exploring and don't see a great way to get down to the creek, look around for an easier access. There are plenty! This park also has a beautiful amphitheater. It would be the perfect place to have a summer show or sit to enjoy a concert in the park. I did see a family with small children riding their bikes. They were a bit disappointed to discover that the trail was not suited for bikes. If you are looking to bike, I would not pick this specific park. However, if you are looking for a nice walk or a not too difficult hike, this park is for you!

A variety of trails lead down into a nice wooded area along a creek to explore. We were able to see a number of small fossils down there. There are multiple access points (some with stairs, some without, as well, depending on your preference), so referring to the map or keeping an eye on the trail markers can be helpful for wayfinding. There is also a mountain biking trail. The other side offers closer proximity to the sports area, which includes pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. Fun place to visit!

There are some trails that go back along the highway (look for the fenced in goats) that is not as loud as one would think. The outskirts of the park include many historical markers telling about the history of the park as well as the surrounding area. You'll know when you've arrived when you see the German-style clock tower. Every hour, figures pop out of the clocktower and music is played. There's lots of character. The shelter does seems like it could use a fresh coat of paint/update, but it's definitely usable. Behind the park is a path that leads to Goebel pool and loops back up to Philadelphia Street. Goebel Park is a great place to come and enjoy the ice cream you got at Piper's (ice cream/food window) or treats from a number of the local businesses in Mainstrasse Village. This is a great place to bring your dog and walk the path or just find a bench and read a book. I'm super grateful that Covington has Goebel park!

While this park isn't particularly walkable to many places (yet; there seems to be a lot of renovation going on in the area) it is situated on perhaps the most prime piece of real estate in Mt. Auburn. There's a parking lot, greenspace, shelter house and jungle gyms for kids. Overall this secluded nook is an asset to the city - with some TLC it could be a showpiece! This small but might spot does an excellent job of making one feel as if they are in nature. Having shorter trails, this is a great park for younger hikers. The trails may be a bit short for thoses looking for a serious hike. Bring a lunch, and enjoy the picnic tables behing the nature center. The park is open dawn to dusk. Leashed dogs are permitted. The nature center itself was not open. No word on when they plan on reopening. There is a sign about nature programs. I have heard that in the summer the Cincinnati Parks runs a nature themed day camp at this location. Not sure if that will be happening this summer. They did have a QR code up to learn more about becoming a counslor in training.

I met my Mother, nephew, niece and their children at McCullough Nature Preserve for a wonderful…read morenature walk. It is a lovely place with beautiful plants and trees (some very old), and interesting old architecture to explore. The trails that we took were clearly marked and easy. After the walk we sat at the covered tables socializing and recounting parts of our adventure to a new friend that we found sitting there upon our return. We had a great time.
