The owner, who only communicates by text, responded by explaining the difference between lash extensions and a lash lift--even though no one had mentioned lash extensions or ever claimed that's what we had. It was completely unrelated to the actual issue, which was that there was virtually no visible difference in the lashes before and after the lift. She then accused me of being unfair and disrespectful because of my tone, even though I was simply expressing disappointment with the technician's work. Instead of acknowledging what had happened or taking responsibility, she made the conversation about my delivery rather than the poor result. I don't appreciate being made to feel as though I was the problem simply for raising a legitimate concern. To make matters worse, the lash lift wasn't the only disappointing service. She also upsold on a gua sha facial, which was equally underwhelming and did not deliver what was promised. In the end, she did issue a partial refund, but it wasn't even close to what had been spent on the services. A partial refund doesn't change the fact that the services were poorly performed or the way the situation was handled. I could upload the text messages, but honestly, I think they would be more embarrassing for her than for me, and that's not my goal. I simply want other people to know what our experience was before deciding to spend their money there.
