I bought a Groupon for their classic set eyelash extensions on Sunday and was able to make an appointment for upcoming Friday. I messaged through Yelp and got a response within 20 minutes which was great. I was a few minutes late to my appointment, but wasn't a problem. I was in and out in 1 hour, 15 minutes including signing the waiver and sitting in me in the lobby a few minutes which is amazing because I've stayed as long 2 hours at other spots. I would give ZERO stars if yelp allowed me to. Found this place because of groupon, Purchased a full set of eyelash extensions for $49, when the original price is supposed to be about $185. Given the price, I assumed this place would be amazing at getting its job done.I was so excited for my appointment and I couldn't wait! But I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I literally walked out of the shop with tears, and yet the employees/ manager did not do ONE thing about it. And just so you know, I am never the type to complain at a business unless its a HUGE deal. I usually just keep them to myself. But the service they gave me here was just ridiculous and I need to warn everyone else before they waste their money. When the woman (I didn't get her name but she spoke very little english) began attaching the eyelash extensions onto my eyelids, I began to feel a burning sensation around my eyes and I felt very uncomfortable. I thought it was because of the tapes, so I asked her to tape it for me again with caution. After she fixed the tapes, the pain still did not go away, and as the woman continued gluing the extensions onto my eyelids, the burning sensation was increasing rapidly. I just held the pain in, hoping for the pain to go away soon. A LOT of time went by and the pain was only getting worse. It felt like someone was poking me very hard in the eye, and tears began to form. I decided there was something wrong so I told her I had pain in my eyes, but all she tells me is "We are almost done." WE WERE NOT ALMOST DONE... I was lying there for about another 30 minutes, just holding in my tears. Finally, after a total time of 1 hour and 30 minutes of TORTURE, she began to take out the tapes around my eyes. As she takes out the tapes, my eyes couldn't take it anymore and tears began to pour out. It was just TOO painful! So I asked for the manager, and she comes inside the room. I tell her about the pain I've experienced and she tells me it might be an allergic reaction to the glue substance. I explained to her that I never had this kind of problem the other times I got eyelash extensions done. Then she mentions, "Never mind. It can't be allergy, because if it was allergy then the whole area around your eyes would be red. Maybe you just had your eyes open." Uh, why would I have my eyes open? And the lady clearly taped my eyes down! I asked her if the pain persists for the next 24 hours, can I come back and have it removed and at least get a partial refund. She says no, because it is not their problem that I am allergic to the substance. ....Woman, you JUST told me it can't be an allergic reaction. It was just so ridiculous that I lost all effort to continue speaking with this dumb lady. In anger, I just stormed out of there. It really surprises and upsets me that I did not get even one apology from them nor did they show one bit of concern for me. An hour later, the pain did go away so it was not an allergic reaction or anything. Either the glue was very cheap and harsh, or the lady did NOT know what she was doing. To add, it's been only 3 days since I got them done, and half of my lashes already fell out. NOTHING can ever beat this worst experience and customer service in my life. read more

I found this place on yelp! after looking for places to get my hair done. Their service is amazing! Teresa, I believe the salon owner, did my extensions with such great care. She gave me tips on how to keep them in and what products to use, etc. The pricing was reasonably, especially with the local competitors. *I've had my hair for almost 2.5 months & normally they go for 3 months (average, or so I read online).. But they are still in! (And trust me, I am very passive with my hair. I workout and wash everyday when it's supposed to be 3 times a week.) I plan on going back and getting them redone by Teresa this summer. Don't let the surrounding plaza fool you. Once inside the salon, it's very clean and organized. I decided to give them a try because almost everyone seemed to have had a great experience and the photos of their work were great. I inquired on appointment times through yelp and received a response within the hour. When I arrived, I was greeted right away and handed a waiver to fill out. This took less than five minutes...it's NOT long and it's NOT because they've had problems it's simply to protect you and their business. Be weary of places that don't provide you with information and disclaimers not the ones that are transparent. Teresa was the one that worked on my lashes and she did a great job. It was my first time and I was really specific about adding length and volume but not so much that the change was drastic. The end result was exactly what I wanted. The entire process took about two hours and it was so relaxing that a fell asleep a couple of times. Teresa is very gentle and meticulous even when removing the tape from under your eyes. Found this place by the grace of God! My hair was a disaster. My red ombré hair had faded into a salmon/orangey color. Not a pleasant sight. I have been coming here to get my eyelash extensions done since October 2014. I looooove how Fabi does my lashes!!! She has definitely made a very happy and loyal customer out of me! The lashes last if you take proper care of them! I get a fill done about every 3 weeks. I love that she takes her time (always about 2 hrs) and she's so gentle that I usually fall asleep during the process. She's very nice and always asks how I liked them. Came here for eyelash extensions with Faby for a full set and I LOVED them! They lasted about 3 weeks If you are getting lashes their prices and quality are great. HOWEVER, you need to know that getting lash extensions is an uncomfortable process, no matter where you go. I had a horrible experience here. I got the deal through Groupon and it was my second time getting lash extensions. The lady glued my natural lashes together in clumps. I felt like they were poking in my eyes and had the most uncomfortable 3 weeks. I felt like there was something in my eye at all times. I went to a different place to take them off and she told me the technician had used too much glue and had glued a lot of my lashes together resulting in my natural lashes breaking off. I got a balayage done by Teresa and she is absolutely amazing!! I showed her photos of what I wanted and she achieved it! Teresa is very kind and patient. She has great knowledge of how to achieve the hair color and style you want. I had horrible experiences in previous salons I have been to where they would bleach my hair and then it was completely damaged that I had to chop all of my long hair off. Teresa put treatments in between bleaching my hair so that it does not get damaged and once I was finished, my hair did not even feel like it was bleached! I am very happy with how my hair turned out. It was super brassy and orange before and she color corrected it and did an amazing blonde balayage. Don't let the location of this place fool you!! A coworker of mine got a hair cut from Unique Beauty and she couldn't stop ranting and raving about her hair stylist, Gigi. After being told that the place she went to did nails, I decided to check it out because I was due for a pedicure. I was a little skeptical upon arriving because of the location but as soon as I entered the salon I was cheerfully greeted by the staff and to my surprise the place was clean and very nicley decorated. My best friend who accompanied me noticed pictures of eye lashes, and that's when we found out they did semi permanent lashes!! So while I got my pedi from Milly, The BFF was getting her lashes done. I went in to get my hair colored. It came out completely wrong! It's a nice color, but completely opposite of what I wanted! I didn't even say anything because I didn't have time to sit there and have her fix my hair, even if she would offer. So first I got my hair color wrong, then I went to pay and it was $80!! My hair is cut shorter than my shoulders! And it cost $80! (My fault for not asking before I went in, I just assumed the reviews were good so I didn't care how much it would cost ). So now I'm out $80 and I'll need my hair done in a few weeks once this hopefully starts to fade. I would not recommend this place. I want to start by saying the lash service here is amazing quality! I loved my lashes and got a lot of compliments. The lash tech was very nice and she gave me exactly what I asked for. The reason for the three stars is based on my second service and when it was time for me to pay. I was told during the first session that I should get my lashes refilled, because that's when people's lashes start to naturally fall off. Well, I wasn't keeping track of the time, only the amount of lashes that fell off. I came in almost 4 weeks later because my lashes literally began falling off the third week only. So I call to schedule an apt for this week and get my service, only to be told that I owe for a full lash set. The lash tech charged me based on time/weeks, not based on the amount of lashes that she put o/fell off. It was a huge turn off because it's clear that I still had a decent amount of lashes on because it took her 1.5 hours instead of the three+ it took the first time. So it took her half the time and I had to pay the full amount based on the amount of weeks I waited instead. I didn't complain and I just paid and left. I'm not sure if this is common practice in the lash community, but it seems a little shady if so. Half the time but all the full set price?? Anyway, again the service was awesome, but I'm going to find a lash tech who will spell out their practices up front/and or charge based on work and not spacing between appointments. ****UPDATE AFTER REVIEWING MANAGEMENT's COMMENT**** Management said that this information was in the consent form, but I don't remember reading it. Not saying it wasn't there, but saying I don't remember seeing it. They also stated it was an industry standard to charge by week and not by service/time, so I did some research. I looked at other places on yelp and I saw a mix of 40% of lash must still be on and a mix of time frames. But the biggest thing I noticed was how much more affordable other places were that had just as many great reviews. If charging by week is an industry standard (which I will ask about with my next appointment elsewhere), then I'd rather seek a more affordable option with the same amount of quality. If anyone is reading, just make sure to do your research and ask questions before going here. Again, the lashes were lovely, but the business part I didn't like. The staff is friendly but if you go in for an eyelash apt you'll be very disappointed, the service took 2 1/2 hours just for a classic full set, the classic full set isn't even a noticeable difference from having no lashes in my opinion. Given that, when you first walk in for your apt your instructed to fill out this lengthy disclaimer which usually makes me suspicious that the business has had unhappy customers in the past. While my service was being done the employee did drop her tool on my face which later left a red mark once I returned home , & if you are thinking about purchasing it thru Groupon then I highly advise you to read all the comments and satisfactions as well as understand you will not be getting a better deal if you decided to just make an apt first and have the salon honor it! read more
