Khristine has been an absolute Godsend in my no make up morning routine! Since 2014 up until the pandemic, I glued strip eyelashes on every single morning. I tried lash extensions when they first came out but the artist who did them was clearly inexperienced and did a shit job. She blamed my short lashes for her poor work so I decided that lash extensions weren't for me and gave them up entirely. Fast forward a few years later and by this point at one time or another, ALL my gfs have/had lash extensions so I decide to give it one more go, and I'm so glad I did! I was looking to get my eyebrows microbladed or ombré powder. I found Beauty FX on social media a few months ago and went to my first appointment back in July 2020. Kristine the owner worked on me and did the ombré powder on my brows. My brows had never been touched before by any other artist but the final results weren't exactly what I wanted or asked for. I expressed my opinion to her before I left my appointment that day and she said I would have to come back for a touch up, which requires more money to pay. I was okay with it, as long as I had the necessary touch ups done. On my second appointment, in October 2020, I expressed my concerns and before she did anything, she outlined the eyebrows before actually working on them and it looked good at the moment but the final results said otherwise. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited a few weeks before I judged the end results and I'm not happy. My eyebrows are not even at all, which is noticeable and I didn't get the "ombré powder" look which I had requested. My eyebrows look like they got micro bladed instead, and, that's not the look I wanted. I've reached out to a few other eyebrow techs and they don't want to touch/alter her work. Luckily, I found one person who is willing to help me out, however, I have to wait some time before my brows heal. I paid a pretty good amount of money to be this unsatisfied. Kristine is a nice individual, but in my opinion, I don't believe eyebrows are her expertise. I wouldn't recommend her for that service in particular. My very 1st appointment with her was about 7 months ago. I walked away from that initial appointment very satisfied with the outcome of the classic lashes I had made an appointment for on her website. Side bar: her appointment/scheduling is the most convenient tool I've used. Also, she has extensive information on her site about all the services she provides at her studio/salon. So, if you've got questions or concerns, all the information is outlined there! AND if for some reason you cannot find what you're looking for, Khristine always takes the time to respond to you - even when she's booked solid (please keep in mind, she does all her schedule checks, administrative things, and a beauty service provider!) I started my lash experience with Khristine with Classic lashes (my choice, and they weren't sassy enough), and have moved on to Hybrids. She has been direct and honest about what needs to be done, as I have told her that I do wear glasses (can't wear contacts, anyone remember Rachel from FRIENDS? I am the same when it comes to my eyes). So I can't have long middle lashes, and she asked how long my previous lash girl would go. Since 12s don't rub, we started off there but I was noticing more fallout so she decided to try 11s and they work better for me. The retention has been a complete 180°! I also follow the aftercare instructions she gave me as well as bought the lash cleaner, because who doesn't want their investment to last?!?!? (BTW, the lash cleaner lasts sooooooo long!
