Jay had…read moreleft but she came back to the shop i was please A1 tip off bat. she presented her shop as being all natural. with me having locs i was very pleased. she cleansed my scalp which felt great. but as she re-twisted my hair wayyyy to my product was use left my hair feeling like TAR. then she sprayed spritz on my head i told her i had an allergic reaction. instead of her offering to wash it out she gave half baked reasons why i would be ok ei: "I OILED YOUR HAIR SO IT WOULD NOT TOUCH YOUR SKIN' guess what it did im just now healing from the scalp irritation. i paid in full $160. plues $20. tip. although i was unhappy and she did not listen when i told her what sprit does to my skin. I think as a new Client she should ask if its ok to use certain products on people. i paid her for her time and i do support black businesses. The review is in hopes of her changing her practices. The salon is small but was busy on the Saturday i stopped in. I first requested a consultation (no fee) to talk about my color and cut, Roberto took his time to hear my concerns, asking a lot of questions about my hair care, products, styling habits etc. I left and looked forward to coming back and wasn't disappointed.
