The service was friendly and helpful and the store is right next to our favorite chocolatier, so all in all it's definitely worth a stop into if you're visiting Ghent.

Having never seen popcorn flavored gelato before I felt it was well named as it not only tasted just like a deep caramel corn, but they had pieces of popcorn in the scoop. I tried to bring my parents here for lunch however as soon as we walked through the door, the staff behind the counter didn't waste a moment of our time and informed us that there were no tables. Fortunately, they had and we were able to snag a table easily. By this time, it was dangerously close to dinnertime and in the interest of having enough gastric space for dinner, we were light with this "snack". Two of my other dining companions ordered the "veggie balls" which I had a chance to try, they were quite good. The veggie sushi was also ordered and received positive reviews. We have a Leonidas near us in the states, so we didn't purchase but loved hearing how a Greek chocolate maker fell in love with a Belgium girl during the World Showcase and his first Leonidas Chocolate shop was based here in Ghent. The chocolate here is factory made and shipped in, so while it's good chocolate it's not as fresh or as boutique as some of the other brands we stopped into during our chocolate tour. But if you're in town looking for tasty well priced chocolates, this location of Leonidas will definitely fit the bill.

It was so flavorful it was almost like eating a blackberry, so mouthwateringly wonderful. The service was incredibly friendly and we came back after the tour to purchase a few more items, every single one of which was delicious. There wasn't a single 'not to our taste' of the bunch. From what Lemmy said during our tour they only do one coating of praline and favor quality over quantity and it definitely shows. All in all, they are an absolute must-do must-eat while in Ghent.
