Jeffrey showed up to fix my nanas icemaker and told het it was 400ish to fix it. I was there each and everytime so this isn't a second hand story. My cousin wrote the check out and Ole Jeff told us he'd be back in 1 week. He wanted the check wrote out to HIS NAME and not the company, nor did we get a recipt. We also ask him to turn the water off for the ice maker and he says he does. Days later I find out the shutoff is in the basement and he never went down stairs. 1 week later and all we hear is crickets. So we call the business number and a different guy picks up and tell us that Jeffrey robbed us and that he does it all the time. So Nana looks Jeffrey McPeak up on fb and messaged him. Jeffrey says that the other guy ( WHO JUST ANSWERED THE PHONE 10 MINUTES PRIOR) was a liar and he fired him for embezzlement. Funny, cause how did he answer the phone? Nonetheless, Jeffrey says he'll be out the next day. Next day comes and shocker no Jeffrey. So Nana gets ahold of him again and gets told he would come out the following day. He does show up then with a box that fits in 1 hand and 20 mins later he says its fixed. It indeed was NOT fixed and now the refrigerator part has stopped cooling, which it was doing so fine previous to Jeffrey working on it. We tell him about it and he tells us he'll be out the next day because we had a 30 day warranty. Jeffrey TEXTS back shortly after the phone call to say that Nana didnt hang up after the call, and he heard us say that we thought the refrigerator issues came from him. SIR, THEY DID!! Refrigerator was cooling fine prior to him "working" on the icemaker. He says that per his attorney hes just going to refund Nana her money and cut ties. Now idk about yall but if I stood behind my work, I wouldn't have had my feeling hurt and I would've been out there defending my work by showing back up, but not Jeffrey. A week goes by no check. Nana gets ahold of him again and he says the check must have got lost in the mail and hes putting out a new one, and that was weeks ago. Still no check. Nana bought that house off of the former magistrate and he wanted to bring officers up to file a report the day after we found out the refrigerator wasnt cooling and he wasnt coming back because its theft by fraud. Nana chose to hold off on it to give Jeffrey a chance to be honest for once but that clearly hasn't worked. Nana told him she was filing charges, which she now is/has, and now Jeffrey is threatening to file charges of his own for Nana speaking HER and THE TRUTH. DO NOT TRUST JEFFREY WITH YOUR MONEY. We had Modern appliances come out and he had us up and going in a week. He brought a box probably 4ft long, and not something that fit in 1 hand. So grateful for him. He said we were the 8th this year he has had to come behind and clean up Jeffreys mess and that's just 1 other company can you imagine what the others say as well. Also when Nana went to file charges they were familiar with his name and said we weren't the first to file against him. AGAIN DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH YOUR MONEY, UNLESS YOU WANT IT STOLEN!!!!! read more

Do not use this man. He took money from me and my mom said our refrigerator needed a part. Messaged a few days later said the part was in and never returned to install it. He will not answer a phone call or text. Very untrustworthy. Do not recommend this company at all. read more

Jeff showed up. He said my 89 year old Mothers washer needed a drain hose. He (supposedly) ordered the part and we paid him $225. When he returned with said part, it was incorrect because he didn't look up the model number. He told us he would have to order the correct part and it would cost another $100. I told him we would pay the extra $100 when he brought the correct part back. A week later, I hadn't heard anything from him. He finally texted me and said the part was out for delivery. Almost a week later, after calling and texting him several times, he finally answered and said it was back ordered. How could it be out for delivery one week and back ordered the next? He finally did refund $93 for the first part he ordered. I found the correct part on Amazon for $17 and we got it fixed. Don't use this guy! read more

Do not use m&b Jeff stole $600 from me and never performed the repairs. He will come to your house tell you a price, want a check made out to his name not the business then you will never see him again. I needed a Freezer drawer repaired on a Whirlpool Gold series refrigerator--they charged money up front and did the repair but it wasn't completely fixed. We were charged $600 for the repair UP FRONT and they haven't returned calls to come and complete the work. Being ignored isn't good business. read more

Do not use M&B appliance repair. We used them for a repair on our fridge, They came and did the work without a problem. I called and had them come back to look at our stovetop paid them upfront because we did not have any problem previously. Jeff told me parts would be about a week. This was on January 6th, I have contacted him several times with 2 missed appointments and now all I get is crickets very disappointed. read more

Promised to come fix dryer in 3 days which he did. he found the problem and wanted me to pay in advance for his labor and the parts needed. I was a fool for doing so, since he has not shown up nor answered messages left. He never answers his phone. I have requested stop payment on the check and will fix it myself or hire someone else. From reading his reviews, he is well known for this behavior. Just wish I had investigated him further before authorizing his work. read more
