We limped across the country just for him, to support our hometown. You're supposed to change it every 80,000 miles. Ours was at 130,000 and someone told us what could happen if you don't get the belt changed- engine could blow up and be ruined. So ended up getting the timing belt, transmission oil changed, water pump, and replaced the spark plugs all for only $350. Flexible- you can show up sometimes and they're right on it. He explained because my 1996 6.5 diesel had had some "custom" work done in the past getting the correct parts could be a little more difficult to match up.
